​30 Jul 2025 Deputy Thornberry was dispatched to Beach Drive, Belpre Township, to a report of a subject being locked out of their RV.  Lillianne Ortiz had been involved in an argument with the complainant.  Ortiz reportedly became erratic and aggressive so the complainant threw her phone outside to get her away from him​ at which time she slapped him.  Ortiz ​advised Deputy Thornberry that no physical altercation occurred between the two.  Ortiz stated that the complainant threw her phone and when asked about ​her missing fingernail, Ortiz stated she lost it when he threw her phone.  Ortiz was asked if she had consumed alcohol due to her slurred speech, with her stating just a Mikes Hard Lemonade. Deputy Thornberry also noted a small child in a bed with blankets and pillows all around.  Ortiz stated that she always slept with her child in bed.  Ortiz, age 19, Beach Drive, Lot 42, Belpre, OH, was placed under arrest and charged with domestic violence, child endangering and underage consumption.

Lillianne Azul Ortiz, age 19, Belpre, OH, prohibitions alcohol under the age of 21, domestic violence and child endangering, all misdemeanors.

Michael Arland Wells, age 47, Belpre, OH, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

John Ray Jewett, age, 70, Columbus, OH, no operator’s license, a misdemeanor.

There are currently 16 women and 79 men incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
