The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is actively serving the communities of Moss Run, Newport, New Matamoras, and Reno by strengthening public safety through partnership, vigilance, communication, and cooperation. In keeping with the mission of the Community Watch Program, the Sheriff’s Office is committed to working alongside residents to help prevent crime, enhance neighborhood security, and build safer, more connected communities throughout Washington County.
The Sheriff’s Office will continue expanding the program each month across Washington County. Residents are encouraged to follow our Facebook page and website for updates on when the next Community Watch meeting will be held in their area.
