Introducing the WCSO Mounted Unit

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is proud to introduce our newly formed Mounted Unit!

Made up entirely of dedicated volunteers who provide and care for their own horses, the Mounted Unit will focus on community outreach, public relations, special events, and preserving the proud tradition of mounted law enforcement.

We’re excited to have this new unit representing the Sheriff’s Office throughout Washington County. Keep an eye out for our Mounted Unit at upcoming community events!
