9 Feb 2026 Deputy Groves received a complaint regarding multiple dogs on the property that was for sale in Fairfield Township. The dogs were from 852 Clark Road, and had harassed multiple people working at the property that is for sale. Reva Moore was advised of failing to restrain her dogs. On 12 Feb 2026 Deputy Groves was again advised of the dogs being back at the property, which interfered with work at that location. Photo and video evidence was obtained. A summons is being requested for Reva R. Moore, age 42, 852 Clark Road, Cutler, OH, on a charge of failure to restrain.
12 Feb 2026 Deputy Tucker began an investigation into a financial scam.
13 Feb 2026 Sgt. Huffer began an investigation into identity theft where a loan was taken out in another’s name.
13 Feb 2026 Deputy Huck began an investigation into a financial theft/scam in regards to Publishers Clearinghouse Sweepstakes.
14 Feb 2025 deputies along with the Little Hocking Volunteer Fire Department Squad responded to the scene of a deceased individual.
14 Feb 2026 while on patrol on Interstate 77, Pioneer Township, Deputy Wallace observed a vehicle bearing KY registration having trouble maintaining the lane of travel and then had a marked lane violation. A traffic stop was initiated and contact was made with the driver. The driver stated he did not have his identification on him but could provide his social. The driver provided the first numbers and then stated he did not know the rest of it. When asked for his name, and date of birth. He stated and spelled Anthonie Deshawn Williams, DOB: 06/13/1987. Contact was made with dispatch along with a request for a photograph. Dispatch provided a photograph that did not match the subject speaking with Deputy Wallace. The driver was asked to exit the vehicle. While deputies were completing a pat down of his person, an Ohio identification card was located for a Dana Williams DOB 04/25/83. There were numerous warrants out of Summit County for Dana Williams. Also located during the pat down was 15.01 grams of suspected fentanyl in his groin area. Dana Floyd Williams, age 42, 1751 Leighton Avenue, Akron, OH, was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail charged with possession of drugs, a felony of the 2nd degree, tampering with evidence, a felony of the 3rd degree and obstructing official business, a 2nd degree misdemeanor. Warrants from Summit County were for tampering with evidence, failure to comply and possession of cocaine.
The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail between 16 Feb 2026 to 17 Feb 2026:
Kirk Alan Mason, age 38, Spence, WV, 2 counts receiving stolen property, grand theft, and breaking and entering, all felonies.
Chad Anthony Burdette, age 43, Whipple, OVI, alcohol, drug of abuse or both, a felony.
Joshua Mark Guiler, age 31, Lower Salem, OH, abduction, disrupting public service, both felonies, assault, a misdemeanor, and Monroe County wants for having weapons while under disability, failure to secure, domestic violence, possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, all felonies.
