Strong Community Turnout at Beverly-Waterford Community Watch Meeting

The Beverly-Waterford Community Watch meeting held on Wednesday, June 24, at the Beverly-Center was met with an outstanding turnout from local residents committed to keeping their communities safe.

Sheriff Mark Warden and members of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office spoke with attendees about current crime trends, crime prevention strategies, and the importance of reporting suspicious activity. Residents also learned about several programs and resources available through the Sheriff’s Office that help strengthen the community.

The large attendance demonstrated the strong support for the Community Watch program and the dedication of Beverly and Waterford residents to working together to make their neighborhoods safer.

A special thank you goes out to Beverly Mayor Jim Ullman, Beverly Chief of Police Matt Rummer, Beverly Volunteer Fire Chief Phil Lowe, and Fort Frye Local School District Superintendent Stefanie Starcher for their continued support and commitment to this important community partnership.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office thanks everyone who attended and remains committed to working alongside our communities to strengthen partnerships, share information, and continue building safer neighborhoods together.
