Marietta, Washington County, OH – Sheriff Warden reports that on 11 Nov 2025 two arrests were made in connection to the seizure of 689.66 grams of methamphetamine and 10.88 grams of crack/cocaine. 

Deputy Tucker was conducting stationary patrol at approximately 1248 hours near the 8-mile marker of Interstate 77, Muskingum Township.  A black SUV was traveling southbound, with visibly dark window tint, a cracked front windshield, and a license plate cover making it unreadable.

Deputy Tucker caught up to the vehicle to conduct a traffic stop, bearing Ohio temp tag near the intersection, of Arends Ridge Road and State Route 821.  The driver identified himself as Anthony Kramer and the passenger was identified as Alisha Wright. Kramer was asked to step out of the vehicle and talk to Deputy Tucker. During conversation Kramer was asked for consent to search the vehicle.  Kramer stated the vehicle was not his ultimately denying consent.

Kramer was advised that K9 Ozna would be conducting a free air sniff around the vehicle.  Kramer was returned to the vehicle and the two were asked if anything was in the vehicle K9 Ozna would indicate on, both stating no. 

K9 Ozna was deployed and indicated to the odor of illegal narcotics inside of the vehicle. Both Kramer and Wright were asked to step out as a probable cause search was going to be conducted.

During the search of the vehicle a large amount of suspected methamphetamine and suspected crack/cocaine was located in a plastic bag on the rear floorboard behind the center console, within reach and in the general vicinity of both Kramer and Wright.  Both subjects denied knowledge of the suspected drugs stating it was neither of theirs.

Anthony Patrick Kramer, age 39, 379 E. Hopocan Avenue, Barberton, OH, and Alisha Marie Wright, age 43, 3176 Styx Hill Road, Medina, OH, were both placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail. 

Both Kramer and Wright were charged with trafficking in drugs, 2 counts, and possession of controlled substance, 2 counts, two 1st degree felonies, and two 3rd degree felonies.

The suspected methamphetamine and crack/cocaine were tested and weighed. The methamphetamine weighed 689.66 grams and tested positive.  The 10.88 grams tested positive for cocaine.

Once at the Washington County Jail Corrections Staff located suspected drugs on Wright while she was being processed.  The suspected drugs were retrieved as evidence.   Wright was also charged with conveyance into a detention facility.

Wright and Kramer both appeared in Marietta Municipal Court.  Wright is being held on a 1 million and 15 thousand dollar bond and Kramer is being held on a 1 million dollar bond.
