SCAM ALERT

16 Dec 2025 deputies were alerted to a SCAM that had occurred in the Little Hocking area. A subject had received a text stating that they were in trouble due to being suspect of a porn scheme. The subjects were advised to go retrieve Bitcoin and upon the subjects not knowing how to do this, they stated they would come to them and asked them to package the money. The subjects did so and the individual(s) did come to the residence and obtain the money.

Be aware that this was definately a SCAM and be alert to these types of messages, texts or phone call.
