Safety Town Students Get a Close-Up Look at Law Enforcement
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is proud to be participating in the Marietta Rotary Safety Town program at Phillips Elementary School!
Our deputies are meeting with children throughout the program and discussing the many tools and resources law enforcement officers use to help keep our communities safe. Students are also enjoying exciting demonstrations from K-9 Cedric, K-9 Dexter, and K-9 Wednesday, who are showcasing some of their incredible skills and capabilities.
In addition, children are receiving their KID ID cards, which can be a valuable resource for parents by providing important identifying information should a child ever go missing.
We appreciate the opportunity to partner with the Marietta Rotary Club and Phillips Elementary School to provide a fun and educational experience for our community’s young learners. We look forward to continuing the program throughout this week and next week!
