28 Sept 2025 Deputy Bush responded to 300 Starlite Drive, Lot 34, Marietta Township, to a report of a male subject becoming violent.  Issiah Mantz had become belligerent when being told something he asked was dumb.  Mantz began to scream, ball up his fists and threaten to assault the individual.  The victim fled the immediate area and Mantz followed and continued his behavior. Mantz admitted to becoming angry, and balling up his fists.  Issiah James Michael Mantz, age 24, was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail for processing on a domestic violence charge.

29 Sept 2025 Deputy Davis and Deputy Talarico were dispatched to Cornerstone Drive, Marietta Township, to a report that Victor Argumosa was drunk and making self-harm comments.  Argumosa had been drinking and making comments.  Argumosa had been driving a 2000 white Ford single cab pickup truck. Deputies patrolled the area.  Argumosa was able to be reached via public service.  It was believed he was intoxicated as his speech was slurred.  Argumosa advised where he was parked in which law enforcement responded to that location.   Deputies, assisted by the Marietta PD, met with Argumosa and it was quite apparent he was intoxicated.  Argumosa was given a PBT which he blew 0.351.  Witnesses observed Argumosa pulling into the parking lot, striking a curb and almost striking another vehicle.  Argumosa was cited for having physical control of a vehicle while under the influence. 

30 Sept 2025 Deputy Gerber issued a citation to Deanna M. Parsons, 2603 Underwood Drive, Belpre, OH, for failure to register a vehicle. 

2 Oct 2025 Deputy Welch completed a private property accident report at the Dollar General in Little Hocking, OH.

2 Oct 2025 Deputy Aultman began an investigation in Lawrence Township of junk motor vehicles.

2 Oct 2025 Deputies along with the New Matamoras Squad respond​ed to the home of a deceased subject. 

2 Oct 2025 Deputy Welch began an investigation into damage at a ball field in Warren Township. 

2 Oct 2025 Deputy Thornberry began an investigation in Belpre Township into fuel not paid for at the Marathon gas station.   

2 Oct 2025 Lt. Tucker filed fugitive charges on current inmate James Tyshawn Carwell, 505 Ruffner Avenue, Charleston, WV, due to a warrant out of Geary County, Kansas. 

3 Oct 2025 Deputy Norris began an investigation in Muskingum Township of a financial scam.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail 14 Oct 2025:

Marcus Rogers Holloway, age 39, Little Hocking, OH, fugitive from justice, a misdemeanor.

Brandon Michael Eales, age 28, New Matamoras, OH, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

Terry Allen Pierce, age 50, Marietta, OH, driving under suspension, failure to appear and expired plates, all misdemeanors.

There are currently 22 women and 99 men incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
