31 Aug 2025 at 0339 hours Deputy Thornberry was conducting stationary patrol near the intersection of Greene Street and Acme Street when a gray Chevrolet Tahoe bearing Ohio registration was observed with an equipment violation. A traffic stop was initiated after witnessing many traffic violations. After stopping the vehicle and approaching the driver an odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected on his person. An open beer can was observed on the center console. The driver, a male juvenile, was asked to step from the vehicle at that time. The driver/juvenile appeared very sluggish. The juvenile also did not have a license with him, therefore he was being asked for his DOB, etc. A standardized field sobriety test was conducted, of which he performed poorly on. The juvenile was taken into custody for suspicion of OVI. While explaining the procedures for the testing at the Ohio State Highway Patrol Post, the juvenile refused the test. A citation was issued to the juvenile and he was released.
31 Aug 2025 Deputy Wallace and Deputy Talarico were dispatched to an incident where Victoria Porter had struck an individual in the face. Both subjects had been drinking and a verbal argument began, ending with Porter striking the subject. Porter left the area once law enforcement was notified. Attempts to contact Porter were met with negative results. A warrant was requested and issued for Victoria Korein Porter, age 33, 705 Virginia Street, Marietta, OH, on a charge of domestic violence. On 10 Sept 2025 Porter was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail.
31 Aug 2025 Deputy Pugh was dispatched to Bender Road, Warren Township, to a reporting domestic incident. The complainant reports while sleeping Alicia Rivera woke him. Rivera was bad mouthing the complainant. The complainant stated Rivera then put her arms around his neck, which inhibited his breathing. The complainant got free and was able to get out of the truck. While examining his neck, a faint, red mark was visible on the left side. Alicia D. Rivera, age 41, Marietta, OH, was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail on a charge of domestic violence and strangulation.
31 Aug 2025 Deputy Welch began an investigation into a theft in Fearing Township.
31 Aug 2025 deputies along with the Reno Volunteer Fire Department squad responded to the scene of a deceased individual.
1 Sept 2025 Deputy Thornberry observed a Jeep Compass with no visible registration parked after hours at the Par Mar, Wesley Township. The vehicle was found to be stolen out of Parkersburg, WV. The vehicle was towed and dispatch advised that a Ferguson Harris had called stating he had taken a vehicle and parked it at the 2346 SR 550 location. Video surveillance revealed Harris exiting the stolen vehicle and leaving the location. A warrant was requested and issued for Ferguson Harris, 27830 SR 7, Marietta, OH, on a charge of receiving stolen property.
1 Sept 2025 Deputy Bush began an investigation in Watertown Township in the theft of a 2004 Chevy Silverado truck. This case remains under investigation.
1 Sept 2025 Deputy Morris responded to Barnett Ridge Road, Dunham Township, regarding a disturbance caused by a male subject. The male, identified as Trenton Michael Cremeans, was inside and appeared to be under the influence of some substance. Witnesses heard Cremeans outside yelling and pacing back and forth, as well as yelling inside the residence. This incident occurred after deputies had been to the residence and warned Cremeans about disorderly conduct. Trenton Michael Cremeans, age 32, Barnett Ridge Road, Belpre, OH, was placed under arrest and charged with disorderly conduct and transported to the Washington County Jail.
1 Sept 2025 Deputy Davis and Deputy Bush were on routine patrol in the area of Veto Road and Barnett Ridge Road, Dunham Township, when a black four door sedan was observed traveling eastbound on Veto Road, committing traffic violations. Deputies caught up with the vehicle and the driver immediately began smoking a cigarette and was observing deputies in his rearview mirror. It is believed this action caused him to cross and or make contact with the solid center line three times. A traffic stop was initiated for a marked lanes violation at the intersection of Veto Road and Briggs Hill Road. The driver was identified as Willison Lockhart, who appeared to be very nervous. A passenger was also in the vehicle. A consent to search the vehicle was requested with the driver and passenger giving consent. During the search of the vehicle a pack of cigarettes were located on the floorboard matching the ones Lockhart had been smoking. This cigarette pack contained 2 baggies of suspected methamphetamine. The first baggie contained a clear crystal like substance, weighing approximately 0.47 grams. The 2nd baggie contained a brown substance with the same consistency as methamphetamine, weighing approximately 0.57 grams. Willison Chester Lockhart, age 52, 1644 Way Road, Belpre, OH, was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail charged with possession of drugs.
1 Sept 2025 Lt. Stillson issued a citation to Ashlee Renee Brown, 206 Vine Street, Marietta, OH, for disobeying a traffic control device.
1 Sept 2025 Deputy Morris responded to a report of a stray dog on Milner Road in Waterford Township. The dog, belonging to Anthony Eltrinhan, 975 Beebe Road, had been to this property in the past. Eltrinhan had been warned previously regarding the dog being loose. Deputy Morris returned the dog to Beebe Road and met with Eltrinhan. He admitted that the dog belonged to him and that he had been previously warned about the issue. A summons is being requested for Eltrinhan on a charge of animals at large.
1 Sept 2025 Deputy Bush issued a citation for speed to Paige E. Skripac, 5050 Lake Breeze Landing, Stow, OH.
2 Sept 2025 Deputy Gerber responded to Warren Township to a report of a breaking and entering where numerous rolls of wire and bare copper were stolen.
2 Sept 2025 Sgt. Augenstein responded to Aurelius Township to a report of a breaking and entering. Tires and a stereo were reported as being stolen.
2 Sept 2025 Deputy Morris completed an Ohio Traffic Crash Report on a hit and run on Blennrhassett Avenue, Belpre, OH.
