11 Jul 2025 Deputy Pugh began an investigation into the theft of guns in Newport Township.
13 Jul 2025 Deputy Morris completed a private property accident report in Newport, OH.
14 Jul 2025 Deputy Pugh began an investigation in Waterford Township of a building being entered and item(s) stolen. Total loss is approximately $450, not including damages.
14 Jul 2025 Deputy Groves received information of a dog in Decatur Township that is loose and killed cats. On 16 Jul Deputy Groves spoke with the caller and met with the owner of the dog, Noel Metz, 2940 Two Mile Run Road, Cutler, OH. Metz was advised that he would be receiving a summons for failure to restrain.
17 Jul 2025 Sgt. Augenstein began an investigation into a stolen debit card from Lawrence Township.

Quintin Avery William Ramirez, age 34, Little Hocking, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor.
Travis Tramell Reese, age 35, Columbus, OH, contempt of court and forgery, both felonies.
Cameron Michael Ryan McKnight, age 19, Belpre, OH, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
Travis James Barber, age 36, Reedsville, OH, unauthorized use of motor vehicle, a misdemeanor.
Alexis Marie Slack, age 23, Parkersburg, WV, possession of drugs and possession of fentanyl 2 counts, all felonies.
Heather Lee Wagner, age, Parkersburg, WV, breach of recognizance, contempt of court, aggravated possession of drugs, and possession of fentanyl related compound, all felonies.
Daylen James Ferguson, age 25, Marietta, OH, endangering children and domestic violence, both misdemeanors.
