21 Jun 2025 Deputy Windland responded to Warren Township, to a report of a male subject continually ringing a doorbell and refusing to leave.  The name of the subject was unknown at the time, however later he was identified as Brandon Hollingsworth.   Hollingsworth had slurred speech as well as smelling of alcoholic beverages.  Hollingsworth had been asked several times to leave, and was even offered a ride and other options.  Hollingsworth was advised several times that he could be arrested for trespassing and he stated he was not leaving, and that he knew his rights. While Deputy Windland and Deputy Davis were trying to persuade Hollingsworth to leave the residence, he immediately became aggressive, tensing his arms, refusing to comply with deputies.  Hollingsworth was taken into custody after a brief time.   Brandon M. Hollingsworth, age 36, homeless, was placed under arrest and charged with trespassing, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct. 

21 Jun 2025 Deputy Thornberry began an investigation into a forgery in Marietta Township. 

21 Jun 2025 Deputy Davis responded to Newport Township to a report of domestic violence committed by Christopher Douglas.  Douglas had walked into a room and began spitting on the victim.  When the victim attempted to leave, Douglas shoved her to the ground and then pressed his forearm onto her throat.  Douglas eventually grabbed a pillow and put it over the victim’s face.  The victim was able to get free, and while leaving the house, was being kicked by Douglas.  Contact was made with Douglas and he was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.  Christopher C. Douglas, age 58, was charged with domestic violence and strangulation.

22 Jun 2025 Deputy Windland began an investigation on Virginia Street, Marietta Township, regarding damage to a vehicle.   

22 Jun 25 Deputy Pugh was dispatched to Newport Township to a 911 hang-up call received at dispatch.  Before the line went dead, dispatchers heard loud arguing.   A location was determined and a male subject stated they did not call 911.  Another subject stated they had called 911 due to Patrick Brannan assaulting her.  The phone had reportedly caught fire due to being smashed by Brannan, after realizing 911 was called.  It was unclear to the caller if the call went through.  Brannan admitted to smashing the phone, however denied any physical altercation.  Patrick A. Brannan, age 63, Marietta, OH, was placed under arrest and charged with domestic violence and disrupting public service.  Brannan was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

30 Jun 2025 Deputy Groves requested a summons be issued to Jamie J Bond, 300 Broad Street, Macksburg, OH, on a charge of failure to restrain.  This stems from a 19 June incident.

Kamron Jo Dawn Klepack, age 19, Belpre, OH, disseminating matter harmful to juvenile, a misdemeanor.

Lori Ann Nelson, age 41, Belpre, OH, grand theft and tampering with evidence, both felonies.

Kristin Hope Linley, age 36, Guysville, OH, aggravated possession of drugs and aggravated trafficking in drugs, both felonies.

Sabrina Lynette Ramme, age 32, Parkersburg, WV, aggravated possession of drugs, a felony.

James Forrest Mellon, age 39, Marietta, OH, rape, a felony.

Brandon Craig McIntire, age 28, Parkersburg, WV, criminal damaging, a misdemeanor.

April Linn Kirk, age 47, Lewisburg, WV, possession of fentanyl related compound, a felony, and dealing in drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.

Gary Lee Jackson, Jr., age 43, Marietta, OH, theft and domestic violence, both misdemeanors.

Brian Lee Morrow, age 52, Reno, OH, fugitive from justice, a misdemeanor.

Jonathan Paul Angus, age 44, Cutler, OH, aggravated menacing, assault, breach of recognizance, illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting arrest, all misdemeanors, illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse and possession of drugs, both felonies.

Brent Allen Mayle, age 31, Marietta, OH, domestic violence and aggravated menacing, both misdemeanors.

David Allen Wayne Gorrell, age 22, Marietta, OH, failure to appear.

Shayla Kai Youngblood, age 23, Belpre, OH, contempt of court and theft, both misdemeanors.

Emily Danielle Lowers, age 31, Lowell, OH, child endangering, 2 counts, both felonies.

Donald James Smith, age 41, aggravated possession of drugs, a felony.

Hannah Alyssa James-Rojas, age 26, aggravated trafficking in drugs, aggravated possession of drugs, tampering with evidence and possession of heroin, all felonies.

Michael Alexander Matarrita Demarsh, age 19, Marietta, OH, corruption of a minor.

There are currently 17 women and 101 men incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
