21 Sept 2026 while on stationery patrol on Cogswell Lane, Marietta,  Pioneer Township, Deputy Wallace observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation.  A traffic stop was initiated and contact was made with the driver, David Rowe, and passenger, Misha N. Satow.  Both occupants were asked if there were any firearms or narcotics inside the vehicle and they both advised there was not.  K9 Mauser was deployed for a free air snip and K9 Mauser did indicate on the vehicle.  A search of the vehicle revealed 1.91 grams of suspected methamphetamine, multiple paraphernalia items, baggies and a Smith and Wesson 9mm pistol. Both Rowe and Satow were advised of their rights and Satow stated they were staying at a hotel and provided the room number. Consent was given by both Satow and Rowe to search the hotel room where an additional 4.51 grams of suspected methamphetamine and drug abuse instruments were located. Rowe provided the number sequence to open a locked bag where the firearms was located.  Satow also gave consent to search her phone where there were multiple messages where her and Rowe both are trafficking drugs. Misha N. Satow, age 35, 72 Stout Street, Washington, WV, was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail for possession of drugs and trafficking drugs. David Allen Rowe, age 39, 5538 Araphaho Street, Keytone, FL, was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail charged with possession of drugs, trafficking drugs and weapons under disability.

23 Sept at approximately 2132 hrs. Deputy McElroy conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Main Street, Adams Township, on a blue 2003 Toyota Matrix with no visible registration. Contact with the operator was made and the driver was identified as Wayland Jen Smith.  Smith provided an identification card only and after checking through dispatch it was found he was driving without a valid operator’s license.  Wayland Jen Smith, 8754 N. Rokey Drive, NW,  McConnelsville, OH, was cited for failure to reinstate.

26 Sept 2026 Deputy Davis was sitting stationary on Second and Washington Streets, Pioneer Township, when he observed a white SUV traveling east on Washington Street pass through the intersection of Second Street as the traffic control device on Second Street was illuminated green indicating the traffic control device facing Washington Street was red.  The vehicle was followed and a traffic stop was performed.  The operator, Kelli Hazlett, 204 Hillsberry Lane, Wheeling, WV, was issued a citation for disobeying a traffic control device.

Branda Arlene Houk, age 55, Marietta,  OH, probation violation and breach of recognizance, both misdemeanors.

Seth Taylor Venham, age 40, Marietta, OH, driving under OVI suspension and drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors, and, tampering with drugs, a felony.

Homer Melvin Fry, age 61, Wingett Run, OH, probation violation, a felony.
