20 Aug 2026 Sgt. Painter was stationary in the 3000 block of SR 7/US 50, Belpre Township when he observed a black truck travelling at a high rate of speed, traveling south.  Sgt. Painter observed the vehicle pass his location and observed the driver reaching to the passenger floor. The vehicle then changed lanes without signaling, merging from the left lane to the right lane.  A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Zachary Holsinger, 1607 Hill Street, Belpre, OH. Holsinger’s eyes were glassy and his speech appeared to be impaired.  Holsinger stated he was headed to work and was late.  During the conversation about when he was to be at work, it is believed that Holsinger believed the time of day was morning instead of the evening.   The odor of an alcoholic beverage was present on his person.  Holsinger was detained and submitted to portable breach test.  The test revealed a BAC of .154.  Holsinger then completed field sobriety tests which he did poorly on.  Holsinger was transported for a breathalyzer with the results being .148 BAC.  Holsinger was transported to the Washington County Jail charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

23 Aug 2026 Deputy McElroy was dispatched to Nicewanger Road, Wesley Township, to a structure fire.

Kevin Robert Bartlett, age 61, Vincent, OH, domestic violence and strangulation, both felonies.

Justin Alexander White, age 27, Virginia Beach, VA, OVI alcohol, drug of abuse or both, no seatbelt and marked lanes, all misdemeanors.

Shawn Michael Sanchez, age 29, Marietta, OH, assault, a misdemeanor.

Jeremy Joseph Gossett, age 44, Waterford, OH, fugitive from justice, a misdemeanor.

Erick Flint Adams, age 51, Reedsville, OH, contempt of court and domestic violence, both misdemeanors.

Tyler Ray George, age 30, Hamilton, OH, contempt of court.

Timothy Paul Satterfield, age 45, Belpre, OH, domestic violence, grand theft, menacing by stalking, tampering with evidence and 13 counts violation of protection orders, all felonies, intimidation of a victims/crime witness, a misdemeanor.

Judith Kay Allen, age 69, Belpre, OH, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
