18 Dec 2025 Deputy Norris began an investigation into a break in of a vacant home.

20 Dec 2025 Deputy Gerber began an investigation into damage/vandalism done to a vehicle in Marietta Township.

22 Dec 2025 deputies responded to an alert of a subject causing harm to themselves.  The individual met with deputies and medical attention was provided.

22 Dec 2025 Deputy Talarico filed juvenile charges on a subject who had posted nude photographs of another onto a social media platform. 

23 Dec 2025 deputies along with the Little Hocking and Dunham Vol. Fire Departments responded to the scene of a deceased individual in Dunham Township.

23 Dec 2025 deputies assisted the Donegal PD regarding a stolen vehicle out of their jurisdiction which was believed to be in Wesley Township. 

24 Dec 2025 Deputy Davis began a burglary investigation in Adams Township. 

The following individual(s) were processed into the Washington County Jail between 5 Jan 2026:

David Irvin Wolfert, age 47, Lowell, OH, tampering with evidence, a felony.

Natalie Ann Benton, age 40, Marietta, OH, criminal damaging and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors.

Dorian Lamont Moore-Thomas, age 19, Akron, OH, speed, a misdemeanor.

There are currently 28 females and 96 males incarcerated at the Washington County Jail.
