6 Dec 2025 Deputy Davis made contact with a resident of Fairfield Township who had reported Shawn Bauerbach’s cattle had been out in the roadway on this date.  The cattle belong to Bauerbach, 2096 Tick Ridge Road, the owner/caretaker of the cattle.  The caller got the cattle back in the fence and covered the hole.  Deputy Davis met with Bauerbach and he advised he was aware and would have the fence fixed as soon as possible.  Bauerbach, age 40, 2096 Tick Ridge Road, Vincent, OH, will be summoned into Marietta Municipal Court on a charge of animals running at large.

6 Dec 2025 Deputy Davis responded to Watertown Road, Watertown Township,  to a report of Breandan Coughlin damaging Jasmine Talafhah’s vehicle.  Talafhah and Couglin had been fighting/arguing all night and again this morning.  Coughlin took Talafhah's phone and smashed it with a hammer and then went into the garage and damaged her car with the hammer.  Talafhah did state that after Coughlin did the damage she went and slashed a tire on Coughlin’s vehicle.  Deputy Davis called Coughlin and he denied anything happened.  Coughlin stated that Talafhah fabricated the story and damaged her own car. After completing the investigation Deputy Davis informed Jasmine B. Talafhah, age 20, and Breandan J. Coughlin, age 28, that they would be receiving a summons for disorderly conduct/fighting.

6 Dec 2025 Deputy Wallace recovered drug paraphernalia that is set for destruction.

7 Dec 2025 at approximately 1100 hours inmate James Lambert was seen striking the Kiosk in a dorm, with a closed fist, causing the glass to shatter.  When asked about this Lambert advised he was the only one that used the kiosk today in the dorm and he apologized if he did break the glass.  James Juan Lambert, Lowell, OH, was charged with vandalism. 

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail 9 Dec 2025:

Wessley Daniel McNollese, age 36, Philadelphia, PA, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

There are currently 21 women and 94 men incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
