1 May 2025 Deputy Aultman began an investigation into littering in Belpre Township.  This is an ongoing investigation.

1 May 2025 deputies along with the Warren Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene of a deceased individual. 

1 May 2025 Deputy Groves began an investigation into dogs running ta large in Belpre Township.

2 May 2025 Sgt. Augenstein began an investigation into identity fraud in Belpre Township.

2 May 2025 Deputy Morris along with other deputies, responded to a report of a subject tearing up a residence in Newport Township.  The suspect was Mitchell Lee Greenwood, who was in a verbal argument with subjects.  The altercation escalated to Greenwood kicking the one subject in the face.  Deputies made contact with Greenwood, who continued to yell profanities at deputies and was belligerent when they tried to talk to him.  While placing Greenwood under arrest he began throwing his elbows, ultimately striking Deputy Morris in the eye.  Deputies were able to place Greenwood on the ground after a brief struggle.  Greenwood, age 39, Newport, OH, was charged with domestic violence, resisting arrest and assault of a peace officer.  Greenwood was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

Christina Lynn Kincaid, age 30, Waterford, OH, aggravated trafficking in drugs and trafficking in fentanyl, both felonies.

Herman James Dalton, age 39, Coolville, OH, possession of drugs, a felony.

George Edward McAtee, age 50, Marietta, OH, OVI alcohol, drug of abuse or both, driving under suspension, driving in marked lanes and unsafe vehicle, all misdemeanors.

William Baker Barker, age 39, assault, a misdemeanor.

James Ryan Perkins, age 46, Vienna, WV, theft, a misdemeanor.

Mark Andrew Lowers, age 32, Vincent, OH, a misdemeanor.

Jontaveis Ladi Dake-Crockett, age 19, Massilon, OH, possession of fentanyl, possession of cocaine, trafficking in fentanyl, trafficking in drugs containing cocaine, possession of drugs, trafficking in drugs, failure to comply with order or signal of PO, all felonies, and 2 counts hit skip, leaving the scene of a crash, 2 counts no operator’s license, 2 counts reckless operation, speed, failure to control, left of center, all misdemeanors.  Warrants for kidnapping and disrupting public service, both felonies. 

Mitchell Lee Greenwood, age 39, Newport, OH, assault of a peace officer, a felony, domestic violence and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors.

Andrew Dustin Morgenstern, age 25, theft and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors.

Branden Allen Holcomb, age 39, violate protection order or consent agreement, and failure to display plates, both misdemeanors.

Tyler Eugene Stephens Burgett, age 27, Macksburg, OH, contempt of court.

Luticia Lynn Babb, age 41, Waterford, OH, trespass in a habitation when a person is likely to be present, a felony.

There are currently 20 women and 98 men incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
