10 Mar 2026 Sgt. Harlow investigated a juvenile striking another juvenile in the head.  This case will be forwarded to the Washington County Prosecutor’s Office for possible charges.

11 Mar 2026 Deputy Pugh began an investigation into a fake prescription refill request. 

12 Mar 2026 Deputy Tucker received a complaint regarding ongoing telecommunications harassment by Asia Sigman, Lore City, Ohio.   Sigman had been requested to stop the text, messages, harassment, etc. numerous times by law enforcement and the victims.  These incidents have occurred for the past 5 ½ to 6 years.  Sigman used numerous texting apps, Facebook profiles, and telephones to complete the harassment. A warrant was requested and issued for the arrest of Asia M Sigman, age 38, 17065 Cadiz Road, Lore City, OH, on a charge of telecommunications harassment.

12 Mar 2026 Deputy Bush was dispatched to A.E. Miller Road, Muskingum Township, to a report of a disorderly female.  The individual was identified as Janet Lynn Sturm, 106 Flintwood Drive, Marietta, OH.  The caller reported Sturm coming to their home, and banging on the front door.  It was reported that Sturm appeared very intoxicated and was given access to the residence.  Once inside Sturm knocked over furniture and threw a  phone at a wall.  Sturm then went after the caller and attempted to attack her.  Sturm continued fighting as she was removed from the home by other household members. Sturm, age 56, was charged with domestic violence and was transported for medical treatment and to the Washington County Jail for processing.

13 Mar 2026 Deputy Welch was dispatched to Main Street, Waterford, OH,  to a caller reporting Trever Campbell had struck a 2 year old child.  The child’s injuries were viewed by deputies.  Campbell stated he had whipped the child because the child was misbehaving.  When asked if maybe he went too far, he stated he did this time. Trever Campbell, age 19, was charged with domestic violence and child endangerment.  Campbell was processed into the Washington County Jail.

13 March 2026 Deputy Huck began an investigation into a stolen license plate. 

14 Mar 2026 Deputy Gerber responded to Dalzell Road, Liberty Township, to a report of a child assaulting a parent.  After conducting the investigation Deputy Gerber requested charges of domestic violence be filed on the juvenile through the Washington County Prosecutor’s Office.

15 Mar 2026 Deputy Welch was on patrol on State Route 7, Warren Township.  A maroon Chevy Silverado bearing OH registration was observed committing traffic violation(s).  A traffic stop was conducted and a citation was issued to Stacy Robinson, age 38, 4150 Sugar Run Road, Marietta, OH, for driving under suspension.

16 Mar 2026 Deputy Gainer responded to the Marathon Gas Station Store #275, 15 Arrowhead Road, Belpre Township, in reference to reports of an unknown male stealing a carton of Marlboro Black cigarettes valued at $74.41, on March 11, 2026. A review of the video footage and contact with other law enforcement agencies having similar incidents reported, revealed the subject to be Jonathan Range.  A warrant was requested for Jonathan Michael Range, age 42, 117 Forest Avenue, Mineral Wells, WV, on a charge of theft.

16 Mar 2026 Deputy Huck responded to assist with a disorderly subject. After meeting up with the subject and conducting a pat down, a container with suspected residue and drug paraphernalia were located.  The subject was given a warning for disorderly conduct and the items were tagged for destruction.

‍Paula Ann Warne, age 67, Marietta, OH, disrupting public service, a felony, and resisting arrest, a misdemeanor.

‍Daniel Wayne Camp, age 55, Macksburg, OH, failure to comply with order or signal of PO, a felony, resisting arrest, OVI alcohol drug of abuse or both, driving in marked lanes and failure to display, all misdemeanors.

‍Shawn Patrick Mathews, age 57, Marietta, OH, probation violation, a felony.

‍Matthew Jacob Trezza, age 30, Mineral Wells, WV, probation violation, 2 counts, both felonies.

‍Anthony Dale McBride, age 35, parole violation, a felony.

‍‍Robert Paul Tate, Sr., age 75, Belpre, OH, OVI alcohol, drug of abuse or both, contempt of court, failure to control and no seatbelt, all misdemeanors.
