10 Mar 2026 deputies along with the New Matamoras Squad responded to the scene of a deceased individual.
10 Mar 2026 Deputy Welch was dispatched to State Route 339, Waterford Township, to the Waterford Commercial Savings Bank, regarding a theft and identity fraud. Deputy Welch was able to view video footage of the male subject. The subject provided bank information and ID, which was confirmed as fake. The subject had also been to other branches of the bank. Jackson Twp. PD made contact and advised the suspect had been arrested and identified. The suspect, Robert Candidus, LKA: 7360 Springfield Blvd., Oakland Gardens, NY, is being charged with Identity Fraud 2913.02A1 (F-4) and Theft (F-4) due to the age of the victim.
10 Mar 2026 Deputy Groves began an investigation into a dog biting an individual in Belpre Township.
11 Mar 2026 Deputy Thornberry was dispatched to Sugar Run Road, Fearing Township, regarding a bull running loose in that area. The bull was found to belong to Gary Neff. Deputy Thornberry was en route to the Neff residence and observed the bull walking down the road. Contact was made with Neff and he was advised the bull was running loose on Sugar Run Road. Gary Neff, 1345 Sugar Run Road, Marietta, OH, was advised he would be receiving a summons for having an animal at large.
11 Mar 2026 Deputy Thornberry responded to Aurelius Township to arrest Adam Addlespurger, 141 Dilley Street, Macksburg, OH, on an active warrant. Deputy Thornberry was advised that where Addlespurger was located was approximately 330 feet from the petitioner of a protection order. Addlespurger was charged with violation of the protection order.
11 Mar 2026 Deputy Pugh spoke with an individual who advised a Matthew Staats was repeatedly calling, texting and emailing her and family members, making threats. Staats has been making these threats for approximately 6 months, which have referenced bodily harm and death. Approximately 16 voicemails were left by Staats. Staats has been advised to cease contact and the victim has made multiple attempts to block the numbers, however Staats continues to get different numbers and even email. A warrant is being requested for Matthew D. Staats, age, 58, 905 ½ 13th Street, Parkersburg, WV, for menacing and telecommunications harassment.

James Nemo Lee Croston, age 48, Chesterhill, OH, contempt of court and breach of recognizance.
Michael Christopher Rudolph, age 36, Reynoldsburg, OH, trafficking in fentanyl related compound and trafficking in cocaine, both felonies.
Kirstin Julie Ellen Lewise Bebb-Harris, age 28, Racine, OH, trafficking in cocaine, possession of fentanyl related compound, possession of drugs cocaine, and trafficking in a fentanyl related compound, all felonies.
Andreas Desomond Ellison, age 20, Parkersburg, WV, domestic violence, a misdemeanor, and strangulation, a felony.
Dalton Corey Drummond, age 33, Little Hocking, OH, reckless homicide, endangering children and aggravated possession of drugs, all felonies.
Brianna Mae Michael, age 30, Little Hocking, OH, endangering children and aggravated possession of drugs, both felonies.
