9 Feb 2026 Deputy Groves began an investigation into a dog biting an individual in the City of Belpre.  

9 Feb 2026 Deputy Gerber responded to Grandview Township in regards to the Marietta Municipal Court probation department requesting assistance for a possible weapons under disability violation. Darren Roberts, who is currently on probation, was reported to have several firearms.  A Remington 870 was located inside the home.  Darren Scott Roberts, age 35, 47681 SR 7, New Matamoras, OH, was arrested and transported to Washington County Jail for weapons under disability, a felony of the third degree.

9 Feb 2026 at approximately 1412 hours, Deputies Huck and Davis observed a silver Chevy Avalanche bearing Ohio registration travelling northbound in the 1300-block of Pike Street.  A traffic violation was observed and a traffic stop was initiated in the 100 block of Tennis Center Drive.  The driver continued driving for several hundred feet before pulling over. Upon approaching the vehicle the operator was identified as Austin Wright, as well as the passenger, Eric Brandon Siders. Siders appeared to be under the influence of an illegal substance.  After identifying the subjects​ they were detained for Adult Probation.  Wright gave consent to search his vehicle at that time.   Deputy Davis utilized narcotics detection K9 Ivar for a free air sniff around the vehicle. K9 Ivar alerted to a narcotics odor on the driver’s door.  A search of the vehicle revealed two plastic nicotine pouch containers, ​one with an off white powdery substance, and one with a clear crystalline like substance (suspected to be methamphetamine).  Both containers were located in the area Siders was positioned.  The suspected methamphetamine weighed 13.5 grams.   Eric Brandon Siders, age 37, 840 Pike Street, Marietta, OH, was placed under arrest and charged with possession of methamphetamine, a felony of the third degree, and trafficking in methamphetamine, a felony of the third degree.  Both Siders and Austin Wright, age 36, were both transported to the Washington County Jail on a charge of probation violation.  

9 Feb 2026 Lt. Hornbeck began an investigation into a financial scam involving the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes.  
 
9 Feb 2026 at approximately 2225 hours Deputies were dispatched to an unruly juvenile. The juvenile would not listen to parental authority.  A charge is being filed on the juvenile for domestic violence.  

11 Feb 2026 Deputies along with the Warren Vol. Fire Department responded to the scene of a deceased individual.

Hueston Lee Kellar, age 37, Parkersburg, WV, possession of drugs, a felony.

Michael Levi Gainer, age 27, Vienna, WV, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

Benjamin Andrew Stark, age 24, Williamstown, WV, OVI alcohol, drug of abuse, or both, contempt of court (failure to appear) driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs and driving in marked lanes, all misdemeanors.

Vance Edward Cross, Sr., age 68, probation violation, a felony.

Shyann Nicole McLeod, age 24, Canton, OH, possession of drugs, a felony.

Tanya Marie Dunn, age 45, aggravated possession of drugs and aggravated trafficking in drugs, both felonies.

William Raymond Harris, age 59, Marietta, OH, domestic violence, a felony.

Jeffery Clyde Hunter, age 55, Marietta, OH, OVI alcohol drug of abuse or both, no operator’s license and tail light violation, all misdemeanors.

Mikeya Rainn Kovacs, age 20, Marietta, OH, telecommunications harassment, a misdemeanor.

Mitchell Allen Edwards, age 43, Washington, WV, aggravated possession of drugs, aggravated trafficking in drugs and tampering with evidence, all felonies.

Calvin James Carpenter, age 42, WV, receiving stolen property and possession of drugs, both felonies.

David Scott Hennessee, age 42, Parkersburg, WV, probation violation and theft, both misdemeanors.
