7 Feb 2026 Deputy Thornberry conducted an investigation into a hit/run incident in Waterford Township. The investigation was concluded and the individuals will be handling this between themselves.
7 Feb 2026 Deputy Talarico was dispatched to Williamson Ave., Grandview Township, to an active domestic violence incident involving Joshua Hunter. Hunter had been drinking and was in a verbal argument with another subject. Hunter had grabbed the victim’s neck from behind, not allowing her to get up. Hunter struck the table, threatening to throw the victim through the glass door. Deputies detained Hunter, placing him in the cruiser and advising Hunter of his rights. Hunter denied the allegations. Joshua L. Hunter, age 47, New Matamoras, OH, was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing on a charge of domestic violence and unlawful restraint.
9 Feb 2026 Deputy Welch was dispatched to Greenhill Rd, Warren Township, to report an ongoing issue with Vincent Groeber regarding telecommunications harassment. Numerous messages were reviewed and at that time a warrant was requested through Marietta Municipal Court for Vincent Joseph Groeber, age 30, 1561 Compostella Road, Chesapeake, VA, on a charge of domestic violence, aggravated menacing and telecommunications harassment.

Jessica Marie Biehl, age 30, Marietta, OH, probation violation, a felony.
Darren Scott Roberts, age 35, New Matamoras, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor, and having weapons while under disability, a felony.
Austin William Wright, age 36, Marietta, OH, probation violation, a felony.
Eric Brandon Siders, age 37, Marietta, OH, possession of drugs, trafficking in drugs and 2 counts probation violation, all felonies.
Aida Matthew Martin, age 27, Waterford, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor.
