The Washington County Sheriff’s Office Ice Cream Truck was back in action, bringing plenty of smiles to the Boys & Girls Club in Marietta!
Deputy Brockmeier stopped by to hand out free ice cream treats to the excited students, making their day a little sweeter.
The Ice Cream Truck is part of Sheriff Warden’s ongoing commitment to building stronger relationships between law enforcement and our youth. By creating positive interactions outside of traditional law enforcement settings, we hope to build trust, strengthen friendships, and show our younger generations that deputies are always here for them.
Another important part of this outreach is educating young people about the dangers of drugs. Along with the ice cream treats, deputies distribute informational flyers highlighting the dangers of drug use and encouraging students to make smart, healthy choices. Our message is simple: Say NO to drugs!
Sometimes, building stronger community connections is as simple as sharing an ice cream, a smile, and a positive message!
