1 Nov 2025 Sgt. Augenstein was dispatched to Muskingum Township to a report of storage buildings being entered. Items of value were stolen. This case remains under investigation.

1 Nov 2025 Deputy Tucker was dispatched to Salem Township to a report of property/buildings being entered and items stolen. This case remains under investigation.
1 Nov 2025 deputies recovered a Ram 1500 truck and Road Boss trailer that had been stolen from Belpre Township.
1 Nov 2025 Deputy Pugh was dispatched to take a report of two juveniles taking a vehicle, later returned. Charges are pending in this investigation.
1 Nov 2025 Deputy Talarico took possession of drug paraphernalia that will be sent for disposal.
2 Nov 2025 Deputy Gainer responded to Belpre ER to a report of a dog biting a subject in Belpre Township. A dog belonging to Hailey A. Hayes, 1201 Congress Road, Belpre, OH, left the property and attacked a dog being walked down Congress Road. The owner of the dog fell and was bitten by the attacking dog. 3 Nov 2025 Deputy Groves responded to meet with Hailey Hayes who advised she owned the dog in question. Hayes was advised she would be receiving a summons to appear on a charge of failure to restrain.
2 Nov 2025 deputies along with the New Matamoras Squad and Reno Squad responded to the scene of a deceased individual in Grandview Township.
3 Nov 2025 Deputy Gerber was made aware of an assault at the hands of Peyton Williams that occurred on 2 Nov 2025. Subjects involved were drinking alcoholic beverages when Williams became vulgar and belligerent. The conversation became enhanced so the victim poured out the alcoholic into the sink. Williams grabbed the victim’s hand, striking it against the dirty glass dishes in the sink, which caused a severe laceration to the victim’s hand. The broken glass and blood were observed by officers. Williams would not allow the victim to leave the residence. The victim attempted to call for help, however Williams approached her, being belligerent and taking the victim’s phone, smashing it several times on the floor, destroying/disabling her ability to call for help. Williams again became physical with her due to her crying, shoving her, causing her to strike a wall and fall to the ground. Several blood splatters were observed by deputies while conducting the investigation. Williams was eventually talked into transporting the victim for medical attention. Williams continued with the belligerent and vulgar talk. Williams continued with this type of activity until the victim was able to run for help, where Williams did not follow her. Peyton D. Williams, age 23, Tennis Center Drive, Marietta, OH, was located and placed under arrest. Williams was charged with kidnapping, disrupting public service, and domestic violence.

Christopher Allen Streight, age 39, Marietta, OH, involuntary manslaughter, trafficking in fentanyl related compounds, 4 counts, possession of a fentanyl related compound, and aggravated possession of a fentanyl related compound, 2 counts, all felonies.
Harold Dewayne Angus, III, age 48, aggravated possession of drugs, aggravated trafficking in drugs and possession of drugs, all felonies.
Tanya Marie Dunn, age 45, Cutler, OH, aggravated possession of drugs and aggravated trafficking in drugs, both felonies.
There are currently 24 women and 92 men incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
