21 Oct 2025 Deputy Pugh was dispatched to Adams Township in reference to a report of Ian Lockhart violating the terms of  his probation and the terms of a protection order. It was reported that Lockhart had been drinking, which is a direct violation of his probation.  Multiple empty beer and liquor bottles were observed inside the residence Lockhart is staying at.  Also Lockhart had submitted to a drug screen where he tested positive for THC and ETG.  The violation of the protection order was for possessing and/or using alcohol or illegal drugs.  Ian Kennedy Lockhart, age 27, 307 5th Street, Lowell, OH, was placed under arrest and charged with violation of a protection order.  Lockhart was transported to the Washington County Jail.

21 Oct 2025 Deputy Pugh began an investigation in Belpre Township of a theft of tools.  This case remains under investigation.

21 Oct 2025 Washington County Jail personnel were advised of possible contraband inside the Washington County Jail.  Inmates were removed from the area(s).  A search of the area(s) was conducted in which a Spork which had been altered into a makeshift shank.  The investigation continued with subjects denying ownership.   After completing the investigation Jontaveis Ladi Drake-Crockett, age 19, 1632 16th Street, Massillon, OH, was charged with possessing a deadly weapon and aggravated menacing. 

22 Oct 2025 at approximately 2028 Deputy Tucker responded to Fearing Township, regarding an unruly child assaulting a subject.  A verbal altercation began and then turned physical.  The juvenile will face charges of domestic violence and delinquency of a juvenile.

23 Oct 2025 Deputy Gerber responded to a breaking and entering in Dunham Township where a Stihl weedeater was stolen.  This case remains under investigation.

23 Oct 2025 Deputy Talarico responded to a breaking and entering in Adams Township where an impact wrench was stolen.  This case remains under investigation.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail 29 Oct 2025:

Robert William Farmer, age 49, Delta, OH, contempt of court, drug paraphernalia, DUS and no seatbelt, all misdemeanors.

Michael Lee Christian, age 27, Charleston, WV, aggravated menacing, a felony.

Jeremy Allen Hines, age 32, New Matamoras, OH, rape, 2 counts, both felonies.

Joshua Edward Sargent, age 40, Marietta, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor, and non-consensual dissemination of private sexual images, a felony.

There are currently 24 women and 92 men incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
