23 Sept 2025 Deputy Wallace observed a vehicle fail to stop at a flashing red light at Third and Greene Street, Marietta, OH, and fail to signal lane changing. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle.  The female passenger was observed bent all the way over towards the male driver.  Deputy Wallace quickly exited her patrol cruiser to observe the male and female switching places inside the vehicle.  Contact was made with Jamie Hardman, the subject now in the passenger seat, and Kimberly Kester, who was now in the driver’s position.  Hardman stated he did not have a license, which dispatch confirmed, and that was why they switched places.  The rear passenger was frantically looking for her identification and all occupants were displaying deceptive behavior as they were extremely nervous, fidgeting as they were all reaching around in the vehicle, after two subjects had already changed positions in the vehicle.  K9 Mauser was deployed and he indicated on the rear passenger side of the vehicle. When the rear passenger, Patti Wilson, was asked to step out of the vehicle a snorting straw, consistent with drug usage, was seen falling from her person. During the pat down Wilson advised she had methamphetamine on her person.  A glass smoking device, a snorting straw and 4.67 grams TPW of suspected methamphetamine was removed from her Wilson’s pocket. Kester was asked to step out of the vehicle and she advised she had a glass smoking device in her pocket, which was then recovered.  During the search of the vehicle, Deputy Bush located a glass smoking device in the center console within reach of both Kester and Hardman.  Patti Jean Wilson, age 70, 653 Johnson Road, Marietta, OH, was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail on a charge of possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
