25 May 2025 Deputy Thornberry assisted the Marietta Municipal Court Probation Department in Waterford Township.

26 May 2025 Deputy Morris completed a private property accident report at Main Street, Lower Salem, OH, where a Kawasaki Teryx rolled over a hill and struck a pole. 

27 May 2025 Deputy Gainer conducted a welfare check on a subject in Barlow Township for an out of state relative. 

27 May 2025 Deputy Gerber was on patrol in Dunham Township when he observed a trailer blocking the roadway, along with items in the roadway.  Contact was made with Timothy Mackey, 2346 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, OH, advising him the trailer needed to be moved and the items in the roadway cleared out.  A summons is being requested for Mackey, on a charge of impeding traffic.

28 May 2025 while on patrol in the Village of Beverly, Deputy Wallace observed a vehicle stop at a traffic control device then turn left on a red light. The registration was also poorly lit so a traffic stop was initiated and contact was made with the driver, Rachel Bauerbach.  Bauerbach was asked to step from the vehicle and asked if she would consent to a search.  Bauerbach stated she had a lighter in her bra and upon shining a light in the area, a baggy was observed in her bra.  Bauerbach was detained in handcuffs at which time she stated to be careful because the baggy contained fentanyl. The items were removed and secured as evidence. The total weight with bag was 0.34 grams.  Rachel Janelle Bauerbach, age 43, Mitchell Avenue, Beverly, OH, was placed under arrest and charged with possession of fentanyl.

29 May 2025 Deputy Gerber conducted a traffic stop on a Ford Fusion in the city limits of Marietta.  The driver, Nathan T Ketchum, 4330 SR 26, Marietta, OH, was issued a citation for speed, 50 mph in a 35 mph zone.

30 May 2025 Deputy Wallace observed a female to be driving a 2013 Chrysler 200, bearing WV registration as it pulled into the GoMart.  The female exited the vehicle, driver’s side, and walked into the station.  A check through dispatch revealed the registration was invalid. When the subject pulled out of the gas station, a traffic stop was conducted in the nearby parking lot. The now passenger, Jennifer Richards, did not wish to speak about why she had been driving when she only has an ID card.  K9 Mauser was deployed and did indicate on the vehicle.  Richards exited the vehicle and was leaning on the vehicle for stability.  Richards was advised that a pat down would be completed of her person and as Deputy Wallace began the patting down of the groin area, it was immediately apparent that Richards had a hard foreign object in her vaginal region.  Richards was placed under arrest at that time and read her Miranda Rights, which she declined speaking with Deputy Wallace. Richards admitted to putting a glass meth pipe in her groin area prior to contact with law enforcement. Jennifer Lee Richards, age 51, 121 Rockland Drive, Williamstown, WV, was transported to the Washington County Jail where she was charged with tampering with evidence, and OVI.  A portable PBT was conducted with the results being .115.  A BAC test was refused by Richards.

Joseph David Cody, age 36, Belpre, OH, arson and inducing panic, both misdemeanors.

Eric Ellis Luke, age 38, Lower Salem, OH, theft of a motor vehicle 2 counts, both felonies, and probation violation, a misdemeanor.

Cynthia Kay Myers, age 50, Marietta, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

Robert William Farmer, age 49, Delta, OH, driving under suspension, no seatbelt and drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors.

Tony Ray Fischer, age 63, Malta, OH, receiving stolen property, a misdemeanor, tampering with evidence, burglary, theft of a firearm, and having weapons while under disability, all felonies.

Kelly Scott Goins, age 45, Malta, OH, burglary, having weapons while under disability and theft of a firearm, all felonies.

Myranda Renee Wilson, age 38, homeless, complicity to burglary, a felony.

Samantha Michelle Burt, age 33, Stockport, OH, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

Dalton Lee Burt, age 32, Stockport, OH, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

There are currently 21 women and 101 men incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
