27 Apr 2025 Deputy Venoy began an investigation into the theft of a piece of jewelry to be raffled at a benefit in Marietta Township.  This case is ongoing at this time.

 During the month of April 2025 deputies conducted 203 traffic stops, served/attempted to serve 136 civil process paperwork, served/attempted to serve  48 criminal warrants, responded to 66 calls on K9s i.e. pick up, complaint and dog bite, and responded to 77 911 hang up calls. These are just a portion of the many functions the officers cover on a daily basis.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail 29 Apr 2025:

Darrell Robert Poole, III, age 34, Marietta, OH, having weapons while under disability, 2 counts, receiving stolen property, trafficking in drugs, possession of fentanyl and unlawful possession of dangerous ordnance, all felonies.

Sara Faylian Michele Wilson, age 32, Marietta, OH, felonious assault, a felony, and assault, a misdemeanor.

Demerio Nyseir Bentley, age 27, Mansfield, OH, trafficking in drugs, 2 counts,  and possession of drugs, all felonies.

Raheem Jawuan Washington, age 29, Columbus, OH, failure to comply, a felony.

Randall Wayne Delancey, age 61, Waterford, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

Chavazze Levi Kidder, age 31, Marietta, OH, driving under suspension and contempt of court, both misdemeanors.

Mia Casey Michelle Bryan, age 41, Racine, OH, possession of drugs, 2 counts, and tampering with drugs, all felonies.

Theresa Dianne Bettinger, age 54, Marietta, OH, theft, a misdemeanor.

There are currently 20 women and 94 men incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
