9 Aug 2025 Deputy Gainer responded to State Route 550 in Warren Township, to a report of Mark Moyers and another individual being in a dispute. Contact was made with one of the subjects however Moyers had left prior to law enforcement arriving.  The two had gotten into a verbal argument over Moyers showing up at a residence uninvited. It was reported that during the argument Moyers struck the other subject in the face with his head causing a busted lip. A summons is being requested for Mark B. Moyers, age 42, 10965 SR 550, Vincent, OH, on a charge of disorderly conduct.

13 Aug 2025 Deputy Groves was dispatched to Sheets Run Drive, Grandview Township, to a report of a dog attack incident.  It was reported that Johnny Beagle’s dog left the property and attacked this subject’s dog.  The victim’s dog did have injuries consistent with being attacked. Beagle reported that his dog escaped his residence when he walked outside, and did leave his property, attacking the dog on the neighboring property. He was advised that he would be receiving a summons for failure to restrain.   A summons will be requested for Johnny L. Beagle, 2324 Sheets Run Drive, New Matamoras, Ohm, for failure to restrain.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail 26 Aug 2025:

Devon James Johnson, age 34, illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto grounds of a specified governmental facility, and aggravated possession of fentanyl related compound, both felonies.

Jacob Lee Brown, age 20, Vincent, OH, failure to comply with order or signal of PO, a felony, endangering children and speed, both misdemeanors.

There are currently 20 women and 88 men incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
