4 Jun 2025 Sgt. McConnell began an investigation into a financial scam.  

5 Jun 2025 at approximately 1939 hours Deputy Tucker responded to Main Street, Adams Township, to a report of a domestic incident involving Davon Kidd. Deputies observed the two subjects of the incident in a verbal argument.  Both parties were separated and statements obtained.  The victim reports being met outside by Kidd, making accusatory remarks to her.  The verbal argument continued and when the victim attempted to leave Kidd pushed her against a fence, forcefully ripped away car keys from her hand, and advised she was not taking “his” car.  After this occurred they continued arguing inside the vehicle.  The victim did not feel she was free to leave at this time.  Kidd stated that he only had a verbal argument, and took the keys off of her purse.  Davon Eugene Kidd, age 39, was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail charged with domestic violence and unlawful restraint.  

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail 9 June 2025: 

Jaclyn Raquel Grayson, age 33, Marietta, OH, possession of drugs, a felony, and probation violation, a misdemeanor. 

Justin Michael Davis, age 41, Belpre, OH, burglary, a felony. Zane Randal Mathis, age 35, Parkersburg, WV, aggravated possession of a fentanyl related compound, a felony. 

Joshua Don Martin, age 45, Marietta, OH, breach of recognizance, a felony. Sheldon Dwight Hill, age 42, Cutler, OH, aggravated possession of drugs, a felony. 

Dusty Lynn Ferguson, age 37, Marietta, OH, attempted felonious assault, a felony. 

Eric Francis Freed, age 50, Belpre, OH, criminal trespassing, a misdemeanor. 

Diamond Danae Call, age 20, Belpre, OH, domestic violence 2 counts, offenses involving underage persons sells to purchase for, prohibitions alcohol under age of 21, all misdemeanors. 

There are currently 22 women and 107 men incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
