New SCAM

Recent phone scam saying they are from Dish Network. They have quite a bit of information about you and account numbers to make you think it is legitimate, but it is a SCAM.

Dish Network has gotten numerous calls about this scam.  They are unsure if they have had a security breach of customer information or what. 

Dish Network will not call customers saying they are going to do an upgrade on service or to check and see if you qualify for a satellite upgrade.  They will only send offers through paper trail then you call to set up an appointment. 

Even though this may seem real with all the information they have please just hang up, it is a SCAM to get credit card information.

These calls have been in the Waterford and Vincent area at this time.
