3 Aug 2026 Deputy Gainer responded to Barnett Ridge Road in Dunham Township in reference to an open line on a 911 call. Individuals could be heard in an altercation. Contact was made with an individual who advised Trenton Cremeans was attempting to flee the residence by going out a back window. Cremeans was then located hiding under a bed in the residence as he was afraid. Also reported was that Cremeans was attempting to take a phone charger (not belonging to him) which caused a shoving/wrestling match. An attempt by other witnesses to separate the two resulted in Cremeans striking one of the victims in the face. Cremeans stated he would not intentionally strike the victim. Trenton Michael Cremeans, age 33, 1148 Barnett Ridge Road, Belpre, OH, was placed under arrest and charged with domestic violence.
3 Aug 2026 Deputy Mays was dispatched to a Dunham Township residence to begin an investigation into a stolen moped.
4 Aug 2026 at approximately 2026 hrs. Deputy Huck observed a blue Ford Ranger bearing Ohio registration turning left at the intersection of Dalzell Road/SR-821, Salem Township. A registration check revealed the license should be on a Ford Focus. A traffic stop was initiated and upon approaching the vehicle Isaiah Adams was found to be the operator. A check of the VIN was conducted, and it was confirmed the displayed registration did not match the vehicle in operation. Adams admitted the registration displayed belonged to a Ford Focus. A citation was issued to Isaiah Adams, 8715 Dalzell Road, Lower Salem, OH, for fictitious registration.
4 Aug 2026 Deputy Mays and other deputies responded to King Avenue, Wesley Township, in reference to an outstanding arrest warrant for Mason Nelson. Contact was made Amara Alfstad who was asked if she knew the whereabouts of Mason to which she stated no. Alfstad stated she hadn’t seen Mason in a couple of days. Deputies were speaking with another individual and could year Alfstad yelling from within the residence. The property owner gave consent and deputies entered the residence. Alfstad was observed sitting on the couch in the living room and when asked who she was yelling at, stated she hadn’t said a word. Mason Nelson was located in a bedroom adjacent to the living room. Alfstad was given her Miranda Rights and was asked if she knew Mason was in the bedroom with her silently acknowledging the question with a nod of her head in the affirmative. Amara M. Alfstad, age 24, 540 King Avenue, Cutler, OH, was placed under arrest and charged with obstructing official business.
5 Aug 2026 Emetayare Jones Enomate, 1819 Bairsford Drive, Columbus, OH, was an inmate at the Washington County Jail. A report of Enomate spitting in another inmate’s face was made. After conducting the investigation a charge of harassment by inmate was filed on Enomate.
5 Aug 2026 Deputy Bush responded to a report of a temporary protection order violation by Vincent Groeber. Groeber had made numerous calls from various numbers, as well as text messages. A warrant was requested for violating a protection order on Groeber, 1561 Campostella Road, Chesapeake, VA.
5 Aug 2026 Deputy Moss began an investigation in Salem Township of a firearm being removed from a residence.
6 Aug 2026 Deputy Gerber began an investigation in Waterford Township where the subject was asked to provide Apple gift cards, after advising her there were warrants for her arrest. This is a known scam in our area.
7 Aug 2026 Deputy Tucker responded to Eddy Ridge Road, Lawrence Township, to a report of an active domestic 911 call. It was reported that Dylan Grayson caused the victim to bleed from their mouth. It was believed that Grayson was sitting in his vehicle. Deputy Tucker arrived and ordered Grayson out of the vehicle, without incident. Grayson was asked to explain what had occurred and he advised the two were having relationship issues. Grayson stated he came to the residence and began packing his belongings to move out. Grayson stated the victim attempted to grab him and the items. Grayson then pushed the victim to the ground, then kicked the victim. The victim gave a similar account of the activities, however stated Grayson advanced towards them, grabbed them by the neck with one hand in front and one in back, throwing them to the ground, then kicking them in the face. Dylan Lee Grayson was placed under arrest and charged with strangulation and domestic violence.
8 Aug 2026 Sgt. Parks was patrolling south on State Route 7 near the 37 mile marker, Newport Township at approximately 0001 hours. A gray Toyota truck bearing OH registration was traveling north. The truck traveled across the double yellow line twice. The first time was with the driver’s side tires, and the second time the whole truck was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes and Sgt. Parks had to swerve off the side of the roadway in order to keep from being struck head on. Emergency lights were activated and Sgt. Parks pursued the vehicle. The driver pulled into a business lot in Newport Township. Sgt. Parks made contact with the driver, Darin Wayne Boley. Boley was advised that he had just ran Sgt. Parks off the road and he stated “I’m sorry.” Boley’s speech was slurred, movements slow, and he was unsteady on his feet when he exited his vehicle to preform SFST’s to which he performed poorly on. Boley was transported for a BAC with the results being .164 at 0101 hrs. Darin Wayne Boley, 12081 County Road 9, Newport, OH, was transported to the Washington County Jail and served with his citation for OVI.
8 Aug 202626 at approximately 0240 hours Deputy Moss along with Deputy Huck were on patrol eastbound near the 300 block of Greene Street, Marietta, Ohio. Deputies observed a vehicle displaying Ohio registration in front of the patrol car. While following the vehicle, it was observed veering left of center on multiple occasions, across the center dashed lane divider. A traffic stop was attempted near the 400 block of Greene Street and the vehicle continued on, turning right onto the Williamstown Bridge. While traveling across the bridge the vehicle veered left of center again, nearly striking a vehicle in oncoming traffic. The vehicle came to a stop on the bridge just before being over the water. Contact was made with the operator, Noah Lane. Lane had noticeable bloodshot/glassy eyes, his speech was slurred, and he appeared to be very disoriented. Lane was asked where he was coming from to which he advised the Locker Room Sports Bar. Lane admitted to consuming alcohol while at the bar, later elaborating he had consumed 1 mixed drink and further stated he was only 20 years old. Lane was requested to exit the vehicle and perform Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Lane was taken to the front of my patrol car for these tests where he performed poorly on. Lane provided a PBT with the results being .045. Lane advised he was on medication and a quick search revealed the side effects when combined with alcohol. Lane was placed under arrest for OVI and transported for further testing. Lane submitted to a voluntary urine specimen, which will be sent to the lab. Noah Lane, 52 Betsy Lane, Belpre, OH, was cited for OVI and underage alcohol consumption. Lane was provided copies of all documentation and transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.
8 Aug 2026 Deputy Thornberry was dispatched to Blue Knob Road, Warren Township, regarding Sierah Caldwell was at the location and not making any sense. Deputy Thornberry spoke with Caldwell and a plan was made for her to accompany family members. A short time later Caldwell was reported to be yelling at the family members at the hospital, and eventually left the hospital. A search of the area for Caldwell was conducted in order to trespass Caldwell from the family member’s property. Caldwell was located walking on the property located on Third Street, Marietta. Deputy Thornberry parked in front of the residence and the property owner approached stating they didn’t know the female and they had told her multiple times to get off the property. Caldwell was met with and after advising her she was trespassed from the other property, became angry. Caldwell was advised to leave the location on Third Street as the property owners did not want her there. Caldwell began screaming that she was not going to leave. Caldwell was advised that she was interfering with the investigation and that if she didn’t leave she would be arrested. Caldwell responded with “- - - - you” and proceeded to advance towards Deputy Thornberry. Caldwell was advised that she was under arrest. As Caldwell was being handcuffed she continued pulling away from the officer, placing her hands in the front to resist arrest. Caldwell was placed on the ground and handcuffs were placed on her. Caldwell is being charged with obstructing official business, resisting arrest and trespassing. Caldwell was transported to the Washington County Jail.

Stephen Paul Combs, age 39, Tampa, FL, trafficking in fentanyl, possession of fentanyl, both felonies, and fugitive from justice, a misdemeanor.
Chase Daniel O’Donnell, age 25, Belpre, Oh, gross sexual imposition, a felony.
