 25 Apr 2025 Deputy Windland responded to Moody Ridge Road, Belpre Township, to a report of Julie Coe and Isaiah Hinson being in a verbal alteration. Prior to this call, Sgt. McConnell had dealt with Coe and Hinson earlier in the day and warned them both of disorderly conduct charges due to their turbulent behavior.  The caller reported being on the phone with Coe and hearing Hinson calling Coe derogatory names, engaging in a verbal argument after Hinson returned back to the residence.  A summons is being requested for Julie L. Coe, age 65, and Isaiah Thomas Hinson, age 18, on a charge of disorderly conduct.

26 Apr 2025 at approximately 0056 hours Deputy Venoy was dispatched to Sandhill Road, Newport Township.   Grant Wilson stated the mother of his child was acting erratic and running outside.  Deputy Venoy met with both parties wo advised a verbal altercation occurred due to a disagreement.  Wilson then followed the victim outside and punched her in the back of the head. Wilson denied striking the victim in the back of the head, stating he only wanted to get the child from the victim.  Grant Michael Wilson, age 32, Sandhill Road, Marietta, OH, was placed under arrest and charged with domestic violence.  Wilson was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail 28 Apr 2025:

Matthew Stewart Hill, age 44, Charleston, WV, receiving stolen property, a felony.

There are currently 18 women and 97 men incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
