Found Dog- Help us find owner
A dog has been found around Warner St. and ACME St., and we are attempting to locate its owner. (see pictures).
If you recognize this dog and know who it belongs to, please call the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch at 740-376-7070, ext. 0, available 24/7.
Reminder: Dog tags are mandatory in Ohio. A current registration tag enables the Dog Warden to swiftly identify the owner of a lost dog, often facilitating its safe return to the owner’s home.
Under Ohio Revised Code 955.12 and 955.16, dogs found running at large may be seized and impounded, with Ohio law establishing procedures for their return and redemption.
Keep your dog’s registration and tag current—it may be the quickest way to get them home.
Please share and help us reunite this dog with its owner.
