5 Jun 2026 at approximately 0133 hrs. Deputy Huck was dispatched to State Route 26, Marietta Township, to a report of Bryan Boley threatening to hurt the caller and the caller’s family, as well as destroying their property. Boley had just driven past the residence three times before Deputy Huck arrived. It was reported that Boley became irate with the victim. Boley messaged stating he would destroy her family’s car tires by throwing nails in her driveway and in the roadway. Boley further messaged “What im gonna do is bust yr windows out for wasting my time.” Several items were observed in the driveway and on State Route 26. It was reported that Boley threw those items out the window as he drove past the residence. Boley continued messaging while Deputy Huck was on scene. Charges of menacing, telephone harassment and littering were filed on Bryan Joseph Boley, 155 Carriage Lane, St. Mary’s, WV.
6 Jun 2026 Deputy Bush and Sgt. Ullom responded to Windsor Township, Morgan County, Ohio, in reference to a domestic incident that occurred in Wesley Township. Jodi Ditterline stated she was in a physical altercation with John Ditterline. Jodi stated that John grabbed her and attempted to strangle her. Contact was made with John at the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office where he stated that he and Jodi had an argument and he stated Jodi attacked him from behind. John stated he did put Jodi in a sleeper hold but quickly let go. Due to the contributing circumstances summons are being requested for Jodi Michelle Ditterline, age 40, and John Reuben Ditterline, age 56, 630 Mercer Road, Stockport, OH, for disorderly conduct by fighting.
8 Jun 2026 Deputy Groves began an investigation into a dog bite in Pioneer Township.
9 Jun 2026 Deputy Huck began an investigation into a juvenile refusing to return to her home in Marietta Township.
9 Jun 2026 Deputy Groves began an investigation into a dog bite in Warren Township.
10 Jun 2026 Deputy Welch filed for a summons for criminal trespass on Connie Schau, 308 Third Street, Lowell, OH. This charge stems from Schau being on the property of another.
10 Jun 2026 at 1130 hrs. on Front Street, Marietta, OH, a white and black Chevy sedan bearing OH registration was observed committing a traffic offense. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was found to be Darrin Fulton. A consent to search Fulton’s vehicle was requested and agreed to. During the search a snorting straw, an empty knotted baggie and a container of white powder residue were all located. Darrin Gale Fulton, age 35, 10735 State Route 550, Vincent, OH, was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail.
11 Jun 2026 Deputy Bush was dispatched to a possible assault. After speaking with the parties involved a refusal to prosecute was signed.
11 Jun 2026 Deputy Wallace, while on patrol at Farson Street and Washington Boulevard, observed a vehicle bearing a vehicle bearing OH registration with very dark window tint and failed to signal 100 feet prior to turning. A traffic stop was initiated and contact was made with the driver, Charles Weekley, and passenger. An active warrant was found for Weekley out of Athens County. K9 Mauser was deployed and indicated on the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed 17 methadone pills, 2.96 grams tpw of suspected methamphetamine, a glass smoking device and another unknown substances. Charles Robert Weekley, age 43, 614 Thomas Street, Belpre, OH, was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail charged with 2 counts possession of drugs, and tampering with drugs.
23 Jun 2026 Deputy Groves requested a summons for Anthony Denune, 8311 Muskingum River Road, Lowell, OH, for failure to restrain. On May 4 Deputy Groves responded to 8311 Muskingum River Road for a dog at large complaint. Deputy Groves met with Denune and advised him that photos were obtained of his dogs running off of his property. A verbal warning was issued to Denune at that time. On June 11 a resident on Muskingum River Road reported Denune’s dogs in their back yard on June 8 and June 10. Photographs were also available of this incident. On June 16 Deputy Groves spoke with Anthony Denune and advised him of the complaint. Denune was adamant that the dogs did not leave his property because he supervised them while they were outside. Anthony was shown the photos at that time.
12 Jun 2026 Deputy Tucker responded to assist an individual who was the victim of a scam. The individuals had the victim purchase business cards (gift cards) in the amount of $500 each.
12 Jun 2026 Deputy Thornberry, while on patrol on Interstate 77, along with Deputy Wallace, observed a vehicle bearing WV registration following a vehicle closer than is reasonable and prudent. A traffic stop was initiated that continued onto the off ramp, Pioneer Township. While waiting for the vehicle to pull over, the passenger was observed “disappearing” as she leaned completely forward in the vehicle. Deputy Wallace made contact with the driver, Stephen McKinney, while ACSO Deputy Kulchar made contact with the passenger, Jenna Baker. Deputy Kulchar observed what appeared to be methamphetamine in a dog bowl with water, on the floorboard at Baker’s feet. Baker was then asked to exit the vehicle. Baker also gave consent to search her person at that time with Deputy Wallace finding a ziploc baggy with residue in her shoe. Baker denied having any narcotics inside the vehicle, stating the substance in the dog bowl was ice. When asked why the ice wasn’t floating, Baker stated she had about a “ball” of methamphetamine that she put in the dog bowl as they were being pulled over. A narcotics field test was utilized with a shard from the bowl and it immediately tested for methamphetamine. The entire amount from the dog bowl weighed 513.54 grams. Also collected from the passenger seat and floorboard was an additional 4.86 grams tpw of suspected methamphetamine. A pat down was completed on McKinney and a search of his pockets yielded a cigarette plastic from a pack with 0.48 grams tpw in his pocket and $403.00. During the search of the trunk, 1.22 grams tpw was located in jacket. Stephen Gene McKinney, age 56, 1057 Canton Road, West Union, WV, was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail charged with possession of drugs and trafficking in drugs. Jenna Marie Baker, age 39, 800 Pike Fork Road, Salem, WV, was charged with possession of drugs, trafficking in drugs and tampering with evidence. Baker was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.
12 Jun 2026 at approximately 1847 hours NCSO Deputy Perry, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle bearing OH registration on I77 near the 3 mile marker for a marked lanes violation. Deputy Tucker and Det. Peters arrived and the K9 was deployed for an open-air sniff, leading to a positive indication on the vehicle. A folded dollar bill with a crystal like substance was located in a bag belonging to Jerrod R. Howard. Jerrod R. Howard, age 43, 215 S. Main Street, Tuscarawas, OH, was placed under arrest and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
13 Jun 2026 Sgt. Parks and Deputy Mays responded to State Route 339, Belpre Township, in reference to a report of Todd Tywman taking a lighter out of the caller’s hand and twisted it. Contact was made with Tywman and the victim. Tywman stated they were at the residence and one of the dogs had ran away, and the victim left to check for the dog. At the conclusion of the investigation it was determined that Todd J. Twyman, age 45, 5432 School House Road, Belpre, OH, would be transported to the Washington County Jail charged with domestic violence.
14 Jun 2026 at approximately 0406 hours, Deputy Huck observed a silver Hyundai without a registration, travelling westbound in the 100-B of Putnam Street in Pioneer Township. A traffic stop was initiated at the intersection of Front and Putnam Street. Deputy Huck identified the operator as Brieanna Kavelaris. Kavelaris appeared to be overly nervous and anxious. Kavelaris was asked for consent to search and she agreed. During the search of the vehicle, a zipped bag was located with approximately 5.75 grams, a bag with two snorting straws, burnt foil and a card. All of the items had crystal-like residue on them. Seven uncapped needles were located throughout the vehicle. Kavelaris was advised of her Miranda Rights and she advised the purse did belong to her, however she did not assume any ownership of the items located throughout the search, including the needles. Brieanna J. Kavelaris, 715 Third Street, Belpre, OH, was placed under arrest and charged with possession of drugs, drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia.
