29 May 2026 at 1307 hours Deputy Thornberry conducted a traffic stop on State Route 821, Muskingum Township, on a blue 2002 Chevy Sedan bearing Ohio registration for a turn signal and speed violation.  During the stop it was discovered that the rear passenger, Tashua Bundy, had an active arrest warrant on file.  Bundy exited the vehicle and a search incident to arrest was conducted.  Bundy admitted to the presence of a “meth bubble” in her bra.  Tashua Jean Bundy, age 40, 206 Vine Street, Marietta, OH, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and processed into the Washington County Jail on that charge and the active warrant.

29 May 2026 at approximately 2151 hours Deputy Huck was dispatched to Grandview Township in reference to a 14 year old being violent.   At the conclusion of the investigation the child was summoned into Juvenile Court for being unruly.

30 May 2026 at approximately 0205 hours Deputy Huck was stationary in the 300 block of Third Street, Pioneer Township, when a 2016 silver Subaru bearing Ohio registration traveled eastbound through the red light at the intersection of Third Street.  A traffic stop was initiated and upon approaching the vehicle, Daniel Drake was identified as the operator and sole occupant of the vehicle.  Deputy Huck noted Drake’s speech was heavily slurred and his eyes also appeared to be glossed over. While talking with Drake, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected emanating from his person. Drake refused to submit to Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, however admitted to consuming three beers.  Daniel Keith Drake, age 32, 2000 Forrest Park Circle, Nashport, OH, was placed under arrest and charged with OVI​ and red light violation.  Drake was transported to the Washington County Jail.

1 Jun 2026 Deputy Mays responded to State Route 676, Palmer Township, in reference to a Joseph D. Ryan slashing the tires on a red Chevrolet truck.   It was reported that Ryan appeared intoxicated upon his arrival at the residence.   During conversation with Ryan, he was looking at the victim’s vehicle, when a witness stated “don’t do anything stupid.”  At that time Ryan approached the vehicle, stabbed the front driver side tire and then placed the knife inside the garage and left.  A warrant is being requested for Joseph D. Ryan, age 31, LKA: 6005 State Route 60, McConnelsville, OH, on a charge of criminal damage.

1 Jun 2026 Deputy Gerber was on patrol on Washington Boulevard when he observed a green Chevrolet truck bearing Ohio registration commit a marked lanes violation.  The cracked windshield was viewed as obstructing the driver’s view.  A traffic stop was initiated and when the suspect vehicle stopped, the passenger fled the car.  Verbal commands were given to the male, which he ignored several times.  The male eventually returned to the vehicle.  The male identified himself as Matthew Lowers.  It was eventually determined that he was in fact Mark A. Lowers, and he had 2 active warrants for his arrest. Lowers was placed under arrest, and a search of his persons was completed.  Located was a silver container with 21.96 grams of suspected methamphetamine.  Lowers, age 33, 3761 Bell Road, Vincent, OH, was transported to the Washington County Jail on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.

2 Jun 2026 Deputy Gerber was on patrol near Wooster Street, Pioneer Township, when a silver in color Mercedes—Benz 4 door sedan bearing Ohio registration was​ observed operating with a license plate that was fictitious.  The plate was to a 2002 red Honda station wagon.  A traffic stop was conducted and the driver identified.  Brian R. Harris, was asked for license, registration and proof of insurance.  Harris was only able to provide a license.  Harris appeared nervous, his hands were shaking and ​he ate a sandwich at a fast pace to avoid questioning, almost choking on the sandwich several times.  With the assistance of Deputy Tucker and K9 Ozna, a free air sniff was performed.  K9 Ozna indicated the odor of narcotics.  The search of the vehicle revealed a clear glass container with 13.46 grams of suspected methamphetamine and a white glass smoking device with residue. Brian Robert Harris, age 47, 2316 Highland Ridge Road, Lowell, OH, was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.

2 Jun 2026 Deputies Thornberry and Tucker were patrolling the area of Muskingum Drive, Muskingum Township, when a Ford Station Wagon bearing Ohio registration was observed committing a stop bar violation at the stop light. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle and contact was made with the driver, Jacob Anderson.  Anderson was asked for his driver’s license and insurance information.  It was noted that Anderson appeared nervous towards officers.  Deputy Tucker then released K9 Ozna to conduct a free air sniff on the vehicle.  K9 Ozna returned a positive indication. A search then revealed 1.74 grams of suspected methamphetamine.  Jacob Kevin Anderson, age 36, 2430 State Route 83, Beverly, OH, was placed under arrest and charged with possession of a controlled substance.  Anderson was transported to the Washington County Jail.

3 Jun 2026 Deputy Groves conducted a check of a possible malnourished dog. The area of Front Street was checked and the animal was not located.

5 Jun 2026 at approximately 0133 hours Deputy Huck was dispatched to State Route 26, Marietta Township​ to a report of Bryan Joseph Boley, threatening the caller and family.  Also noted was that Boley continued to drive past the house.  Boley reportedly became irate with the victim, threatening to destroy the family’s car tires, along with busting out windows.  Items were observed in the driveway which w​ere determined ​to have been thrown there by Boley as he drove past the residence.  Boley attempted to contact the victim while they spoke with Deputy Huck.    After conducting the investigation it was determined that a warrant would be requested for Boley, age, 155 Carriage Lane, St. Mary’s, WV, on a charge of menacing, telecommunications harassment and littering.  The warrant for Boley’s arrest was issued by Marietta Municipal Court and on 16 Jun 2026 Boley was arrested by the Pleasants County, WV, authorities.
