14 May 2026 Deputy Bush, while on patrol in the area of State Route 7 and Bramblewood Heights, Warren Township, observed a black Toyota Corolla being driven in middle of both southbound lanes for an extended period of time. A traffic stop was initiated and contact was made with the driver and the passenger, Jade Nicole Williams. Williams appeared to be nervous. Deputy Bush asked for a consent to search the vehicle, in which the operator consented. Once out of the vehicle Williams stated she had paraphernalia in her purse. While searching the vehicle a small clear bag of a crystal like substance, consistent with methamphetamine, was located. In Williams purse Deputy Bush located a meth pipe and a contact case with suspected methamphetamine. While en route to the Washington County Jail, Williams stated she had burnt foil in her underwear, which was removed by jail staff. Jade Nicole Williams, 207 Maple Street, Ripley, WV, was arrested and charged with possession of controlled substances, tampering with evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia.
14 May 2026 Deputy Welch was dispatched to Everson Road, Dunham Township, to a report of a neighbor’s dog being on their property. Deputy Welch met with the caller who produced a photograph of the dog on his property. Deputy Welch met with the owner, Amber McClay, 214 Everson Road, Belpre, OH, where the dog was in the yard at that time. McClay advised the shock collar was not operating due to the battery being dead, which is why the dog got loose. A summons is being requested for McClay for animals at large.
15 May 2026 while on patrol on State Route 7 at Blue Knob Road, Warren Township, Deputy Wallace initiated a traffic stop on a blue Ford truck due to an obstructed registration. Contact was made with Mahria Hall who consented to a search of the vehicle and both occupants were removed from the vehicle. Drug paraphernalia was located in Hall’s purse. Deputy Wallace went to speak with Hall and upon approaching her two shiny pieces of foil were observed partially under the front of the cruiser. The foil pieces were retrieved and the markings “M.H.” was written on the one foil in blue and the same color with markings on the other foil. While carefully undoing the foil, a purple powder consistent with Fentanyl was located inside both foils. Combined weight for the suspected Fentanyl is 0.76 grams. Mahria W. Hall, 155 Sunset Drive, Marietta, OH, was arrested and transported to Washington County Jail charged with tampering with evidence and possession of drugs.
15 May 2026 Sgt. Ullom and Lt. McConnell responded to Sandhill Road, Newport Township, to a domestic violence incident. Robert Stephen recently left the residence before deputies arrived. The victim stated a verbal fight began in the middle of the night and upon telling Stephen she was calling 911 he placed her in a choke hold and her phone fell to the floor. A warrant is being requested for Robert Stephen, age 45, 16933 SR 550, Amesville, OH, on a charge of strangulation, assault and disrupting public service.
15 May 2026 at approximately 2016 hours Deputy Huck was dispatched to Ohio Street, Waterford Township, regarding Dana Seevers being intoxicated. An active domestic violence incident was reported to be occurring. Deputy Huck met with Seevers who advised he and the victim were involved in a verbal argument, but denied anything physical taking place. Deputy Huck was advised that Seevers was in a verbal argument with the victim and it became physical. Seevers was pulling the victim’s hair and hitting her in the head and face. Seevers also kicked the victim. Dana Ryan Seevers, 300 Ohio Street, Beverly, OH, was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail for domestic violence.
16 May 2026 Deputy Gainer began an investigation into a theft from a food stamp card.
