14 May 2026 Deputy Doug Aultman responded to 87 Riverview Avenue, Belpre Township, regarding the progress of the removal and/or concealing of junk motor vehicles.   There were twelve (12) junk motor vehicles in the front yard in close proximity of the roadway. Multiple other junk motor vehicles were observed behind a torn down fence.  A certified letter had ben sent to Laura J. Parrish, 1005A Florence Street, Belpre, OH, requesting the removal/concealing of the junk motor vehicles.  Deputy Aultman is requesting a summons be issued through Marietta Municipal Court to Parrish for 12 counts of having junk motor vehicles on her property.

15 May 2026 detectives arrested John Wayne Wood, age 53, 103 Third Street, Marietta, OH, after he requested oral sex in exchange for $60.00.  Wood was charged with engaging in prostitution and was processed into the Washington County Jail.

Rex Allan Griffin, age 61, Marietta, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

Brent Allen Carpenter, age 49, 2 counts menacing and disorderly conduct, all misdemeanors.

Jade Nicole Williams, age 28, Ripley, OH, illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, tampering with evidence and possession of drugs, both felonies.

Jessica Lee Smith, age 34, Syracuse, OH, breach of recognizance, aggravated possession of drugs, and possession of drugs, all felonies.

James Ryan Andrews, age 41, Little Hocking, OH, fugitive from justice.

Mahria Whitney Hall, age 35, Marietta, OH, possession of drugs and tampering with evidence, both felonies.

Zachary Alan Johnson, age 25, Marietta, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

John Wayne Wood, age 53, Marietta, OH, probation violation and engaging in prostitution, both misdemeanors.

Valerie Ann Wiley, age 43, Marietta, OH, contempt of court, 2 counts possession of drugs, tampering with evidence, all felonies.

Dana Ryan Seevers, age 41, Beverly, OH, parole violation, a felony, and domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
