12 Apr 2026 Deputy Bush responded to Grandview Township to a domestic violence incident. It was reported that Lindsey Adkins, 905 Parr Hill Road, had been physical with the victim, as well as threats towards law enforcement if they showed up. Adkins was on the front porch when Deputy Bush arrived, surrounded by empty beer cans. Adkins advised he did nothing wrong, and was only joking. Adkins stated there was an argument where he got mad and picked up a chair the victim was sitting in and threw it with her still in it. The victim stated the same had occurred, with her falling over in the chair, however receiving no injuries. Adkins, age 42, was placed under arrest and charged with domestic violence. Once arriving at the Washington County Jail, Adkins performed a test with the results being 0.233 BAC.
13 Mar 2026 Lt. McConnell began an investigation into a subject possibly discharging a firearm improperly.
13 April 2026 Deputy Huck met with an individual who had recovered a firearm in the roadway.
14 Apr 2026 Deputy Davis took possession of a firearm that was recovered in an establishment’s restroom.
15 Apr 2026 Deputy Aultman began an investigation into allegations of an illegal junk yard.
16 Apr 2026 Deputy C Brockmeier filed juvenile paperwork on a 15 year old for assault.
16 Apr 2026 Deputy Bush responded to an incident reporting a Pitbull had attacked other dogs. Follow up is expected with the Dog Warden.
17 Apr 2026 the Little Hocking Fire Department along with deputies responded to the scene of a deceased individual.
18 Apr 2026 Deputy Thornberry recovered a bag of pills from a business in Muskingum Township where they were found. These will be marked for disposal.
18 Apr 2026 Deputy Thornberry was dispatched to Marietta Memorial Hospital regarding an assault. It was reported that Zayden Jase Petry, age 23, Cumberland, OH, while driving in Washington County, became angry about a social media post made by the victim. Petry stopped the vehicle, exited the vehicle and grabbed the victim by the hair, pulling her from the vehicle. Petry then began slamming her head off the ground to the point where she became sick and lost consciousness. After this occurred the victim made her way to the hospital. Injuries to the victim were consistent with the account of what had occurred. Charges for felonious assault were filed on Petry. 20 Apr 2026 Deputy Bush arrested Petry in Belpre, OH.
18 Apr 2026 Deputy Davis responded to Warren Township to begin an investigation into a stolen pistol.
23 Apr 2026 Deputy Groves requested a summons to be issued to Trenna L. Tucker, 115 N Hart Street, Marietta, OH, for failure to restrain her dog. On 12 Aug 2026 the Dog Warden was made aware that an unrestrained K9 had bitten an individual in the area of Hart Street. The individual obtained medical attention for the injury.

Jade Elizabeth Farmer, age 30, Marietta, OH, driving under suspension, a misdemeanor.
Nathan Christopher Kephart, Jr., age 24, Marietta, OH, obstructing official business, a misdemeanor.
Jackie Ray Reed, III, age 21, Alderson, WV, OVI alcohol, drug of abuse or both, marked lanes, driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs .17 or 1 gram or more by weight of alcohol, all misdemeanors.
Jonas Ryan Mayle, age 27, Marietta, OH, robbery, a felony.
