7 Jan 2026 Sgt. Parks took possession of a wooden container with drug residue and requested it be destroyed. 

15 Jan 2026 Deputy Gerber and Deputy Wallace initiated a traffic stop near Walmart, Marietta, OH, in reference to a turn signal violation. The driver advised his name was Ron Brookover, and provided a social security number and date of birth, however later was identified as Ron Moore. An active warrant was found on file for Moore, which was confirmed out of Wood County, WV.  Ron  E. Moore, 223 Broughton Avenue, Marietta, OH, was transported to Washington County Jail charged with obstructing official business and fugitive from justice.  

15 Jan 2026 Deputies Wallace and Gerber were on stationary patrol at the 600 block of Wayne Street, Pioneer Township, when a blue Lexus bearing West Virginia registration was observed.  A check of the vehicle came back nothing on file numerous times.  A traffic stop was initiated and the driver was identified as Timothy J. Foland. Foland was asked if he was the registered owner of the vehicle, and he advised the vehicle is owned by his nephew. Foland advised later he wasn’t sure, and the vehicle is owned by one of his family members.  K9 Mauser was utilized and conducted a free air sniff.  K9 Mauser indicated on the odor of narcotics on a driver’s side door. A search of the vehicle was conducted and a red in color baggie was located containing 3.91 grams of suspected methamphetamine. Timothy J. Foland, 1250 31st Street, Parkersburg, WV, was placed under arrest and charged with possession of drugs. 

16 Jan 2026 Deputy Gerber was patrolling the 800 block of Pike Street, Marietta, OH, and observed a red Saturn at the intersection of County House Lane and Pike Street.  The vehicle made a right turn at the light with no turn signal initiated.  Deputy Gerber was behind the vehicle, and observed the driver’s behavior.  Traffic violations were observed and a traffic stop was initiated at that time. The driver was identified as Matthew Nixon.  A check through dispatch revealed he had a suspended license. A citation for no operator’s license was issued to Nixon.  Nixon was asked if there were any drugs or weapons on him or in the vehicle. Nixon advised there was not.  A consent to search was obtained and several items of drug paraphernalia were located in the vehicle.  A zip lock bag was located containing 2.46 grams of suspected methamphetamine.   Matthew Sanford Nixon, age 43, 1004 Orchard Street, Marietta, OH, was placed under arrest and charged with possession of drugs and transported to the Washington County Jail.

17 Jan 2026 Deputy Welch was on patrol near Lee Street, Blennerhassett Township, when he observed a black and white Ford Fusion bearing Ohio registration commit a traffic violation.  A traffic stop was initiated on the vehicle, operated by Crystal Kern,  1644 Way Road, Belpre, OH.  It was discovered that Kern’s driver's license was suspended for non-compliance. A citation was issued to Kern for driving under suspension.

Neveah Sue Davis, age 19, Mackville, KY, OVI alcohol, drug of abuse or both, driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, driving in marked lanes or continuous lines of traffic and prohibitions, alcohol under age of 21, all misdemeanors.

Savanna Kaylee Henry, age 32, Belpre, OH, possession of drugs, a felony.

Samantha Nicole Brown, age 37, Long Bottom, OH, obstructing official business, illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors, failure to comply, and possession of drugs, both felonies.

Cody Joseph Metrick, age 40, Davisville, WV, theft, a felony.

Samantha Marie Leak, age 32, Parkersburg, WV, theft, a misdemeanor.

Roy James Campbell II, age 39, Lowell, OH, failure to provide notice of change of address, a felony.

Brad Allen Zimmer, age 49, Lowell, OH, passing bad checks, a felony.

Travis Eugene Sparks, age 43, probation violation, a felony.
