9 Jan 2026 Deputy Gainer began an investigation into a stolen/forged check in Muskingum Township.

9 Jan 2026 Sgt. Augenstein began an investigation in Barlow Township of identity fraud.

10 Jan 2026 deputies were dispatched to Barlow Township to a report of an accidental shooting.  11 Jan 2026 Sgt. Parks began an investigation regarding storage buildings being broken into in Belpre Township.  Sgt. Parks discovered this crime during her patrol of the area.

Misty Dawn Clark, age 43, Tuppers Plains, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

Benjamin Michael Hupp, age 36, Parkersburg, WV, fugitive from justice.

Doreen Ann Freeman, age 66, Marietta, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

Marquise Tyrone Marshall, age 29, Marietta, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

Chane Aaron Woodward, age 33, possession of fentanyl related compound, trafficking in a fentanyl related compound, both felonies.
