15 Nov 2025 Deputy Talarico along with other officers began an investigation into a missing/runaway juvenile.  The child was returned home safely.

15 Nov 2025 deputies along with Lowell Adams VFD personnel responded to the scene of a deceased individual.  

15 Nov 2025 Deputy Mays was advised by Corrections Sgt. Skidmore that a protection order violation was committed by Brittany Lane.  Brittany Lane made two (2) phone calls on November 9th, 2025 and November 15th, 2025 to the protected person.  A review of the calls confirmed the contact was with the protected person and the TPO was confirmed to be still active.  Brittany Lane, age 39, 4235 Tick Ridge Road, Vincent, OH, was charged with a TPO Violation.            

15 Nov 2025 Sgt. Augenstein began an investigation into stolen cash in Waterford Township. 

15 Nov 2025 deputies along with Dunham VFD personnel responded to the scene of a deceased individual.

16 Nov 2025 at approximately 1542 hours Deputy Norris was dispatched to meet with an individual regarding threats made by Scott Johnson. Johnson had threatened to take the individual’s life and another family member’s life.  Johnson had stabbed a door with a knife the previous evening.  Scott A. Johnson, New Matamoras, OH, was charged with  aggravated menacing.

Jonathan Michael Range, age 42, Mineral Wells, WV, tampering with evidence, 2 counts possession of drugs, trafficking in drugs, 2 counts, failure to yield at stop or yield sign and driving under suspension, both misdemeanors.

Uriah Matthew Hill, age 49, Marietta, Oh, aggravated menacing and probation violation, both misdemeanors.

Scott Allen Johnson, age 49, New Matamoras, OH, 3 counts aggravated menacing, all misdemeanors, and aggravated burglary, a felony.

Allen Richard Sampson, age 36, Marietta, OH, parole violation, a felony.

Nicole Lynn Cline, age 39, Marietta, OH, breach of recognizance, possessing drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors.

Joshua Scott Gibson, age 41, Marietta, OH, grand theft, 2 counts, both felonies.

Zachary Allen Sandy, age 34, Parkersburg, WV, fugitive from justice, having weapons while under disability, 2 counts carrying a concealed weapons, and possession of drugs, all felonies. Charges from Muskingum County include aggravated trafficking in drugs, aggravated possession of drugs, possession of fentanyl, illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia and permitting drug abuse, all felonies.

Jamil Adrian Cabral, age 43, Parkersburg, WV, possession of drugs 2 counts, and receiving proceeds of an offense subject to forfeiture, all felonies.

Thomas Eugene Stevens, II, age 45, Parkersburg, WV, possession of drugs, trafficking in drugs, possession of cocaine, all felonies.

Scott Coleman Rogers, age 32, Detroit, MI, receiving proceeds of an offense subject to forfeiture, a felony.

Kristy Lynn Graham, age 44, Belpre, OH, criminal trespass, a misdemeanor.

Amy Jo Taylor, age 45, Columbus, OH, breach of recognizance, tampering with evidence and possession of drugs, all felonies.

Samantha Alicia Cooper, age 31, Verona, OH, grand theft, a felony.

Kayla Danielle Cottrell, age 35, Waverly, OH, menacing by stalking, a felony.

There are currently 28 women and 107 men incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
