Communications Room and Dispatch

Communications & Dispatch

The Communications room receives emergency and non-emergency calls from the public.

They can receive anywhere from 50-150 calls a day. They dispatch the proper law enforcement or emergency agency if necessary.

The dispatchers are in constant contact with the deputies and are the center of communication of the department.

They are also the communications center of 13 Volunteer Fire Departments, 2 Police Departments, Adult Probation and Parole, Marietta Municipal Court Probation, and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
