On 18 Apr 14 Kelsey Schaad, age 20, 2031 Camp Hervida Road, Waterford, reported her wallet was stolen while she left it briefly unattended on the counter of a convenience store in Waterford that afternoon. The individual who took the wallet subsequently contacted Ms. Schaad and claimed she took the wallet by mistake. The alleged suspect returned the wallet and its original contents to Ms. Schaad later that day (129).

On 18 Apr 14 Deputy Sheriff Metts responded to a family dispute on Federal Road in Little Hocking. Interviewing the involved parties, Deputy Metts determined the incident was only a verbal argument between two sisters over the division of their ailing mother’s belongings. As a result, Deputy Metts closed this case as unfounded.

On 18 Apr 14 Deputy Sheriff McConnell arrested Julie L. Coe, age 54, 1110 Moody Ridge Road, Vincent, for disorderly conduct by intoxication. Ms. Coe was intoxicated when she arrived at an acquaintance’s home on Moody Ridge Road and began banging on a window. When Deputy McConnell arrived at the scene, he noticed Ms. Coe was unsteady on her feet, that her speech was slurred and she had glassy, bloodshot eyes.

On 18 Apr 14 Henry N. Benedict, age 34, 1481 Benedict Road, Fleming, reported he found fresh damage in one of his fields where the driver of an unknown vehicle was doing donuts. This case remains under investigation (592).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Garrett Paul Rich, age 27, 1225 Coal Run Road, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a felony. Rich was arrested at the Courthouse by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Apr 14 at 11:12 am.

Janerio Paul Dilo, age 31, 17 W. Shield Street, Newark, OH, for a felony charge of being a fugitive from justice and a misdemeanor charge of theft. Dilo was picked up in Licking County and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Apr 14 at 1:07 pm.

Corey Perly Pryor, age 20, 90 Mitchell Drive, Newport, for safecracking, theft of drugs and for two counts of burglary, all felonies. Pryor was arrested in Newport by Deputy Sheriff Call and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Apr 14 at 2:56 pm.

John Shane Bishop, age 37, 5020 State Route 60, Marietta, for theft, a felony. Bishop was arrested o Greenlawn Lane in Lowell and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Apr 14 at 5:33 pm.

Jason Robert Asikainen, age 41, 16 Christopher Circle Searcy, AR, for felony and misdemeanor counts of theft. Asikainen was picked up at the White County, AR Jail by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Apr 14 at 5:48 pm.

Larry Gale Thompson Jr., age 31, 231 E. Faye Avenue, Marietta, for aggravated menacing, a misdemeanor. Thompson was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Apr 14 at 8:24 pm.

Julie Lynn Coe, age 54, 1110 Moody Ridge Road, Vincent, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Coe was arrested on Moody Ridge Road by Deputy Sheriff McConnell and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Apr 14 at 10:38 pm.
