BURGLARY SUSPECTS ARRESTED

A nearly week long burglary investigation culminated yesterday with the arrest of two suspects. Branden D. Ramage, age 19, 206 Jennison Street, Beverly, and Kyle D. Hesson, age 18, Marietta, were arrested in Belpre on felony charges of burglary and possession of criminal tools for forcibly entering a home on Germantown Road in Lower Salem on 10 Apr 14. From inside the home the suspects stole gold jewelry, a coin machine with $35 in change, a digital camera and a jigsaw. Once Ramage and Hesson were identified as suspects, Deputies were able to identify gold wedding bands that were stolen from the residence and sold at a jewelry shop in Belpre. Additionally, a search of Hesson’s truck resulted in the discovery of a digital camera, eight necklaces, a coin sorter and a jigsaw case. Hesson also showed Deputies a tire tool that was used to enter the home. Under questioning, Ramage and Hesson admitted being at the property where the crime occurred, but each accused the other of being the one who entered the home. The suspects were also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after six marijuana pipes were found in Hesson’s truck. Hesson and Ramage remain incarcerated in the Washington County Jail in lieu of $37,500 bond.
