On 12 Apr 14 Marta Henrie, age 55, 550 Rummer Road, Marietta, reported her husband, John, age 48. Mrs. Henrie stated her husband has been violent toward her in the past, threatened to wring her neck and threatened to cause her bodily harm if she did not finish the laundry that day. Mr. Henrie denied his wife’s allegation and instead accused her of being mentally unstable and fabricating the story. Based on his investigation, Deputy Sheriff Hunter arrested Mr. Henrie for domestic violence and transported him to the Washington County Jail. At the jail, Mr. Henrie tested .318 BAC.

On 12 Apr 14 the caretaker for the Ludlow Community Building at the intersection of Community Club Road and Wingett Run Road reported an unknown suspect(s) kicked open a door to the building. At this time no property appears to be missing from the building. This case remains under investigation (126).

On 12 Apr 14 Deputy Sheriff McPeek requested a summons for a fourteen year old Little Hocking resident to appear in Juvenile Court on a charge of delinquency by assault. The previous afternoon the teenager shot the leg of an acquaintance that was visiting his home with a BB gun. The juvenile initially denied shooting the fourteen year old victim but later admitted shooting her intentionally. The victim did not require medical attention.

The following individual was processed into the Washington County Jail:

John Michael Henrie II, age 48, 550 Rummer Road, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Henrie was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Hunter and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Apr 14 at 6:46 pm.
