On 11 Apr 14 Deputy Sheriff Huffer requested a warrant for Willis V. Thompson, age 37, 213 fourth Street Apt. A, Lowell, for domestic violence. That morning, Mr. Thompson was involved in an argument with his live-in girlfriend, Amanda Sampe, age 33, over a Facebook message and over the individuals with whom he associates. During the dispute, Mr. Thompson grabbed Ms. Sampe’s neck and forcefully yanked her arm when he attempted to walk away from him. Mr. Thompson also bit Ms. Sampe’s lip, causing it to swell and bleed.

On 11 Apr 14 Latasha L. Ward, age 25, 135 Groves Avenue, Marietta, reported sometime while she was visiting a friend’s home on State Route 7 in Marietta, one of the people present in the home stole $160 out of the $200 she had in her purse. Ms. Ward declined to pursue the matter further (126).

On 11 Apr 14 a clerk at Byer’s Exxon, 26960 State Route 7, Marietta, reported a customer took a Bud Light margarita drink and a plastic cup from the store’s shelves and entered the bathroom. The customer, later identified as Jessica L. Stevens, age 32, 10 Browns Road Apt. 3B, Marietta, then proceeded to drink the beverage from the cup as she removed a cereal bar from a shelf and filled out a job application while seated at a table in the store. Ms. Stevens passed out at the table and did not waken until Reno squad members responded to the scene. Ms. Stevens refused medical treatment and attempted to grab two more cans of Bud Light when she exited the store. Deputy Sheriff Hunter located Ms. Stevens passed out on a chair on the porch of her nearby residence. Questioned about the incident, Ms. Stevens admitted that she did not pay for any of the items.
