On 21 Mar 14 Deputy Sheriff McGilton requested a summons for Desni L. Crock, age 41, 103 Laramie Road, Marietta, for failing to confine/restrain a dog. Neighbors in the area said Ms. Crock’s dog is aggressive, frequently runs loose and that they feared for the safety of their children. Ms. Crock was advised earlier in the month to restrain her dog but failed to do so.

On 21 Mar 14 Sgt. Mankins and the Beverly-Waterford Fire Department responded to a brush fire on the property of Juanita Wilcoxen, age 61, at 24275 State Route 339, Beverly. Ms. Wilcoxen was burning trash in a barrel when the fire got out of control and burned approximately half an acre of brush. No structures were damaged.

On 21 Mar 14 Kathy A. Long, age 53, 1813 Reese Road, Fleming, reported she recently noticed forty Tramadol pills were missing from their hidden location. This case remains under investigation (507).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Andrew Bradford Russo, age 35, 840 Pike Street Apt. 37, Marietta, for assault, a misdemeanor. Russo was arrested on Pike Street by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Mar 14 at 5:52 pm.

Sherman Lee Larrimore Jr., age 32, 35 Orchard Road, New Matamoras, for violating the terms of his parole, for failing to periodically register as a sex offender and for failing to register a change of address as a registered sex offender, all felonies. Larrimore was arrested in New Matamoras by Sgt. Mankins of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Mar 14 at 7:36 pm.
