On 11 Mar 14 Rosemary Cantley, age 50, 1043 Gantsville Road, Little Hocking, reported she believes her son, Joshua, age 24, stole several of her Xanax pills. When Sgt. Holbert confronted Mr. Cantley about the missing pills he noticed Mr. Cantley was unsteady on his feet and slurring his speech. At one point during questioning, Mr. Cantley asked to lean on a parked vehicle in the driveway. Mr. Cantley denied stealing the medication and claimed his mother gave it to him for his depression. Based on his investigation, Sgt. Holbert arrested Mr. Cantley for theft of drugs and transported him to the Washington County Jail.
