On 7 Mar 14 Sgt. Reeder and Deputy Sheriff Call responded to the scene of death of a ninety year old Whipple resident. The man’s death appears to be due to natural causes; no foul play is suspected.

On 7 Mar 14 a thirty-six year old Newport resident reported his fourteen year old daughter was out of control. Angry that she was told to complete chores, the teenager started throwing hangers and punching walls. The teenager’s father also said his daughter struck a wall with her head. Deputy Sheriff Call determined no act of domestic violence took place.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Aaron Robert Fulton, age 27, 205 E. Montgomery Street, Marietta, for being in physical control of a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Fulton was arrested at the Courthouse by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Mar 14 at 12:16 pm.

Sean Patrick Harkins, age 28, 1574 Elizabeth Street Apt. A, Belpre, for two misdemeanor counts of failure to appear. Harkins was arrested in Common Pleas Court by Deputy Sheriff Gerber and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Mar 14 at 12:26 pm.

Brent Scott Mullins, age 18, 815 Warrior Drive, Vincent, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Mullins was arrested at the Courthouse by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Mar 14 at 2:58 pm.

Michael Paul Stacy, age 36, 53 Teri Lane, Little Hocking, for .17 breath OVI, domestic violence and direct contempt, all misdemeanors. Stacy was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Patrolman Pinkerton of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Mar 14 at 3:13 pm.
