On 3 Mar 14 Deputy Sheriff McGilton requested a summons for Bradley Bole, age 57, 103 Wildwood Drive, Marietta, for failing to confine/restrain a dog. Two of Mr. Bole’s dogs were running loose in the neighborhood the previous day and one neighbor complained that he could not let his dog outside with Mr. Bole’s dogs.

On 3 Mar 14 Deputy Sheriff McGilton requested summonses for Angel Lockhart, age 41, and Ralph Hardie, age 55, both of 105 Leland Avenue, Marietta, for failure to confine/restrain their dogs. Residents in the area reported Ms. Lockhart’s and Mr. Hardie’s dogs regularly run in and out of traffic and fight with other dogs in the neighborhood.

On 3 Mar 14 Deputy Sheriff McGilton requested summonses for Ashley N. Burd, age 25, 4080 Newbury Road, Little Hocking, for two counts of failing to confine/restrain a dog and three counts of failure to register a dog. Two dogs escaped through a large gap in Ms. Burd’s fencing and ran loose in the area on 1 Mar. A third dog ran through the gap when Deputy McGilton was at the residence and barked, growled at and lunged at Deputy McGilton.

On 3 Mar 14 Timothy J. Stanley, age 49, 221 Masonic Park Road, Marietta, reported sometime during the day an unknown suspect(s) opened a package that UPS delivered and stole a Monster High doll from inside it. The value of the doll is approximately $18. This case remains under investigation (132).

On 3 Mar 14 Sgt. Reeder and Deputy Sheriffs Call and Metts responded to a domestic violence complaint at 1204 Hocking Road, Belpre. Maurice Burton, age 29, 2884 Perdue Avenue, Columbus, was traveling on Hocking Road with his former live-in girlfriend when they began arguing. As the argument progressed, Mr. Burton’s ex-girlfriend began spraying pepper spray inside her vehicle and into Mr. Burton’s eyes. Mr. Burton declined to pursue assault charges.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Ronnie Daniel Goad, age 39, 3065 Lowell Hill Road, Lowell, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Goad was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Patrolman Ellenwood of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Mar 14 at 9:59 am.

Brian Lee Miller, age 48, 14000 State Route 676, Marietta, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Miller was arrested on Pearl Street by Patrolman Ellenwood of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Mar 14 at 12:55 pm.

Darian Sean Bryan, age 27, 97 Middle Hill Road, Waverly, WV, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Bryan was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy Sheriff Doak and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Mar 14 at 1:08 pm.

Kelcei Marie Masters, age 19, 301 Woodview Circle, Williamstown, for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Masters was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Probation Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Mar 14 at 2:58 pm.
